ironically that ahve looked at the science of helmets and that's a BIG SOURCE of the problem, because the news helmets make them feel 'indestructible" using them more as a weapon now

I just think some guys use them more as a weapon when playing. I have seen some real bad face mask penalites because of them and I think the NFL should enforce those when a player is yanked down. I know it is a fast game and I don't think most players want to injure another player but there are a few that like to use them as a weapon.

Hahaha, you and DB54 are on the same page, lolz.
I never thought of that but it makes sense. The game IS fast and not all of these head to head hits are on purpose. That's the tough part, identifying intent.

I believe as time goes by this issue will get more and more heated. I can see them gag-ordering players just like coaches that cannot comment on the officiating.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

actually they have created safter helmet, but the league has made the helmet the player chooses to wear voluntary, and the players refuse to "choose" to use the new ones for various vanity/machismo reasons.
