    I'm glad they are doing this, you can still hit big and not be a head hunter. take the helmets off of these guys and see if they still launch themselves head first, if not then its not natural and should be illegal.

    want to jar the ball loose, hit them in the chest again no reason to head hunt. I know its cool to be a knuckledragger and say "omg they are making the game for pansies" but most other physical sports have rules against dangerous techniques. launching headfirst into another players head is a dangerous technique.

    the Problem IMO is hits like Daunta robinsonor earl bennett's on the punter , not the head hunting shot of merriweather- Its football and in that 1/10 of a second you can't detirmine if the hit will end of with helmet's.. there was no intent on robinson to launch with head, it was just a violent collision and earl bennett just did his job, not his fault the kicker wasn't looking
