He said most clubs have twice the starter talent we do.
WOW. so since we have won more games the last 5 years than 80% of the clubs in the league, only one team in 2010 has a beter record than the bears, despite this lack of talent and "most teams" having TWICE THE TALENT
I didn't realize you were such a great fan of lovie smith and the coachign staff!..that's good to know : )
I mean you can't have it both ways, if "most teams" have TWICE the talent and yet we are winning and NOT on of the worst teams in league gettig 3-5 wins in a season, HAS TO BE GREAT COACHING to overcome this total lack of talent and 1/2 the talent of "most teams".. i mean if a team lacks talent or has 1/2 Most teams that a 1-4 win team
So which is it? do we only have 1/2 the talent? or a great coaching staff that overcmes thi huge talent gap to get to 7, 9 11 13 and a 4-2 rcord in 2010?
can't ahve it both ways.. sorry
they win 6 they will be kept, though I'm not sure at this point that I would be pleased to have them stay.
And that is when you lose the 'objective" card and its personal..IMO

so that scout is right others teams do have double the talent if that is all you can bring to the table that makes JA good. And as to paraphrase JD that just shows you really dont have a case to make JA out to be a good gm.

So that means lovie is a 'great coach" to take a talentless( and 1/2 the talent as most teams) to coach them up to a 4-2 and leading divsion right?.. and having years of 7 or 9 wins or 11 or 1 w/o top talent.. Like JD motown didn't realzie you were sucha lovie fan.. can't have a team with 1/2 the talent actually winning games, unless it has "great coaching" to make up the talent gap missing
So which is it? is Angelo a bad GM and 1/2 the talent? And lovie a great coach that despite this no talent has us at 4-2 and 7.9.7.11 and 13 win in previous years, despite the no talent?

I started to reply to this earlier but got sidetracked.
I have doubts this is completely accurate from Mullin and I'll gladly explain why, in depth, when I'm not on a phone. But in a nutshell doing something as static as RBs get DBs is incredibly simple. Like mediocre HS blocking scheme simple. I don't doubt that the RBs should have picked the blitzing DBs on a couple of them, but I can't buy it all. If it's true, maybe Tice made it so simple it confused these guys... Haha.
But i can explain why I have my doubts, if anyone cares to know, when I'm in front of a real keyboard.
