Word from a reporter is that the RBs were to pick up all DBs. If that's truly the case, then the blocking was a bit too simple then. Unbelievably simple actually.
I thought I saw Forte step up to take on someone in the middle but then the tackle turned to the middle, too, so both ignored the DB on the edge. So yeah, maybe if someone just say "hey, I got that guy."
The thing that concerned me was the screw ups on all levels of the offense.
This is not as simple as fixing the protection we need to simplify the game plan and we need players, like Knox who I thought played great, to start executing our assignments.
Your boy Roy does a good job of breaking down all six sacks. From what i watched on the vid, I see that most of the mistakes in this game were mental and it didn't seem like we were just overpowered like in the Giants game. Therefore, I think the bad plays from this game should be fixable.
