Sports fans are invited to join Dick Butkus and other Chicago sports legends for a Charity Fight Night Thursday,at the Hilton Hotel, 720 S. Michigan Ave. in Chicago.
The relaxed business-casual event features a reception at 7:00 p.m. followed by eight Olympic-caliber bouts courtesy of Windy City Boxing beginning at 8:30 p.m. Other activities include a live/silent auction featuring sports memorabilia, unique experiences, and original sports artwork, along with performances by magicians.
Among the 500 expected guests include Chicago Bears greats Dick Butkus, Mike Ditka, Gale Sayers, Dan Hampton and other Chicago sports legends. NBC-TV's Mike Adamle will serve as emcee. The event is in its eighth year and is hosted by Sparta Asset Management of Chicago.
Tickets are available at www.thebutkusaward.com for either individuals ($500) or a premium table of 10 ($7,500), or by contacting Lenee Fisher at 847.993.8105 or lfisher@spartamanagement.com. Proceeds support the Butkus Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization supporting certain health and wellness causes. LOL I have 32 jersies right now, its a Whole closet : ) think i've gone overboard..lol
If need be I start the cycle over. I really do want to add a Jim Covert jersey to my collection sooner rather than later.
