Besides, the punter was out of his "pocket" so to speak and chasing down Hester i assume, so much like when a QB is out of the pocket, he becomes fair game unless it is helmet to helmet, and im sure that applies to other hits as well. Hits on the punter are rare, but they usually happen when they are chasing someone down because their STs suck, if a punter gets hit while kicking, they call it every time.
Looked perfectly executed to me. He got around the front of the player and applied bad to pad. The muppet should have been looking for a blocker if he is looking to tackle.
It's the type of block that hurts not injures. Any play that hurts but doesn't injure is a good play.
