Just think if AB and JPepp lined up acroos from each other.

I'm sure I'll get shit for saying AB was one of the most consistent, but if you look back he made plays. Might not have always been a sack, but he forced fumbles, had interceptions, or rushed a QB into a bad throw. Minus Peppers, nobody else is doing it. Should have kept him. If this team doesn't turn it around, JA and Lovie will have that door hit them in the Ass on the way out of Hallas Hall!

I won't give you shit but I will give you a high five.

if JA had the chance again I bet he would have cut Harris before his roster bonus and kept Brown and never give Anderson the guaranteed tender of over a mil. Im just wondering does Wooten suck that bad that we keep trying to find playing time for anyone but him?

Can you say the same about most of the players on the DL? I would rather have Alex Brown on the team then see if we can find a way to save JA's ass for his mistakes. Now is not the time to see if we can find see if some low round pick or undrafted player can contribute. It is not working with the OL.
Not throwing anyone "under a bus". why do yuo always claim this when its not true?

YES alex was solid( never said different), NOT A GREAT PLAYER AS YOU JUST SAID, but have always maintaned he is a great guy off the field, but as a player that never had double digit sacks, he never reached his potential or at $5 mill/yr at age 30 was he getting better- so had no problem moving from his 5.5 sack average. And as izzy has been better so far in 2010 it was the correct choice

Why for 3 stright posts ahve you ignored that izzy has performed better, and keep harping about a 3rd string choice, which has nothing to do with izzy over alex? oh yeah its the only way you can still complain about JA

really?? can you please explain why alex brown when he faced this SAME SHITTY CAROLINA TEAM THE WEEK BEFORE DIDN"T HAVE 3 sacks also?.. i mean even posters on this board would, right?- so doesn't that prove alex is worse then even posters on this board, if he couldn't get a sack 7 days before against the panthers? and that game was in the Saints house..

Not trying to be a dick! but if "anyone" can get 3 sacks against the crappy panthers, why didn't alex? So, your point of him having more sacks is NOT MOOT, since alex didn't do it, don't you think? and ech for 6 years alex hasn't had alot of sacks against crappy teams.. so doesn't that also prove doesn't hold water?

I'm surprised that Turner will play ahead of Wootton. I would have thought Wootton would play before Turner. I know Wootton has played some, but I thought he'd play more before they turned to Turner.

The #1 issue with the Bears is offensive blocking. If that doesn't get fixed it doesn't matter if the '85 Bears are playing on the d-line. The D can only do so much.

Oh you have thrown Alex Brown under the bus. When we cut him you were the one bring up stats and ripping his sack total just like now. People in this thread recognize his contributions to this team yet you seem to counter every reply with the sack total. I think Alex is a great player and I stand by my belief of him. If you want to bring up him not reaching his potential then add Hester, Tommy Harris to this list of not meeting their potential. Izzy is average at best but maybe just maybe having Julius Peppers lining up opposite of him has something to do with it. Does Alex Brown currently have the luxury of having another stud DL line up on the other side of him drawing double teams? NO, so comparing Alex to Izzy or anybody else is moot.

One more thing, do not dictate to me on how to reply to your posts, I do not need to see your smartass remarks like "Why are you comparing a Starter to the 3rd string depth, makes no sense, except to start an argument with no validity" or 'oh yeah its the only way you can still complain about JA " or ignoring some of your replys about Izzy. Stop turning these threads into pissing matches.

No One said Turner would be playing before Wooton, just they moved turner from the Practice squad.

I said( and its been proven right so far), that Moving alex "not a big deal" and i'd bet izzy and or anderson would do as well in 2010.. As so far that has been correct. And yet you turn "that" into I bash alex and 'throw in under a bus"? and instead jsut thought izzy and or anderson would do as well, which is exactly what has happened..lol.. i recognize alex's contribution- just feel unlike you he IS NOT A "GREAT PLAYER".. and he has never been one, sorry.

that you must turn everything into this personl crap on you.. i'm just tired of it, sorry

And find it hysterical somehow izzy at 11 tackles, 3.5 sacks in 6 games "just average", but alex is "great " at an avg of 5.5 sacks a year for his career. guess we shall agree to disagree a DE that avg's 38 tackles 5.5 sacks, 1/2INT and 2 FF a year is "great" or even very good. Alex was/is a solid DE, but not great or even very good, sorry and his stats are as said pretty easibly replaceable.

just seems IMO you over-exgggerate any bear player that leaves as somehow "great" and downplay any player here.

And please so not tell me how to respond either , thank you

And if you are comparing turner or grant to alex brown, you are comparing a 3rd string depth to a starter, is on you not me, sorry.. apples and oranges

Some sports writers in the Chicago media were making that assumption. Probably just propaganda.

exactly... Not one coach said that and nothing indicates it.. what the score or writers say for reaction, well we already know most times what that's worth : )
