Where do I begin? Is there hope?
Is everybody having as hard a time with this loss as I am! WTF happened today! I feel like I just got robbed of my dignity. I sat there and watched Jay Cutler look like the guy that lead us to the Super Bowl a few short years ago on the other sidline still wearing a number 8 jersey, just for the other team.
This offense is supposed to be about throwing to a spot is what we have been told since mini camp right. Then how the hell on the last drive is that supposed to be throwing to a spot when Knox was 5 feet from the pick? I think I would feel more comfortable with Grossman at this point than Jay.
And to think we challenge a play where our player it was certain he was down and on the very next play we fumble on the one after it looks like we got in and don't challenge. Do any of these coaches, players, front office people give a shit at all? It certainly doesn't feel like it. I sit here and root every week for these guys, I buy there jerseys, and spend money on go only knows what else, and these dicks come out and look like this.
NO EMOTION
Martz actually showed emotion today, which was great, but Lovie never shows anything, Jay, I can't tell if he is drunk, tired from banging the hell out of Kristen Cavilari, or he is still concussed. You have 2 weeks to get your shit together, If you can't after that, there is no hope.
IS THERE HOPE?

Sure there is hope; hope for Teddy on down to be fired, hope for a decent draft pick to be picked up and a GM to use that pick to help in need areas and not the DL, hope for an OC to use our talent in ways they can excel and not just run his playbook talent be damned....
On a more serious note; this week was F'n crazy, Bills almost beat the Ravens; NO got beat by Cleveland(those teams aren't even close), SD almost beat NE(they literally gave that game away on 3 bone headed plays, anyone of which doesn't happen and they probalby win); again no where near as good as NE; Miami got SCREWED out of a win in Pitts, I'm talking they were the Seachickens in the SB screwed agains the Stealers; and the Bronco's got SMOKED against the Raiders; again a team not as good as the other beating them. So yes there is hope
Fact is, and we might not like it; this team is a lot closer to the Redskins then they are the Colts or Ravens or Jets, Pitts or even Giants; we did EVERYTHING to lose that game, and we were still in it until the end.
Now that being said, hope is a hell of a thing; it's like potential, it means jacks squat if it's not used right. Chances are we win another 2-4 games the rest of the year b/c of how nasty our schedule gets; but then again who's to say we don't pull a couple massive upsets ala Cleveland and the Raiders, and then win the winnable games, all of a sudden we got 4-6 more wins; you get to 10, 11 wins and you're legit.
I don't see it happening, but then again, I didn't see the Cowboys going 1-5, or cleveland beating NO either.

Hope lies in the entire removal of the regime with the retention of the few good assistants.
Hope lies in not the pyrrhic victory over hapless teams but for the development of current players now and in the future
Hope is in a eating a full meal (reconstructing) and not a piece of candy (wanting them to win every game out of emotion).
I hope the season comes to a merciful ending
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Lovie showed emotion when they missed the FG. He looked like a ratard, but he got all giddy when they missed that.

CNYBearFan54, I know exactly where you're coming from. I'm not a Bear fan, but your post echoes much of what I've felt about the Packers most of this season. We have different personnel, but many of the same problems. Lack of talent at key positions and poor coaching.
From the outside looking in, you do have talent on your team, mostly on defense/special teams, but some on offense as well. Your offensive line reminds me of the Packers line last season; it shows flashes of being there on some plays, and shows flashes of being nothing more than speed bumps for defenders others. The rest of your season is probably going to hinge on whether or not the line and Cutler decide to play well or poorly. You have a QB who already makes poor decisions, but putting him behind that line only magnifies that problem.
I think your team owner needs to fire JA and send Lovie packing and bring in a GM who will actually put emphasis on having at least a semblance of an NFL caliber offensive line and a HC who will make smarter decisions and bring in an offense that plays to your strengths, not weaknesses. An OC that will reign in Cutler and either correct his issues or not allow him to be in the game long enough to throw 4 picks to one defender
Your defense and special teams seem to be good to great most every season (hence you barely lost today despite throwing 4 interceptions). Get a more fitting coaching staff in place, replace most of your offensive line, get Cutler's head screwed on straight, and bring in another receiver or two and you'll be a complete team. Most of the pieces of the puzzle are there, you just need to add a few more and find someone that will put them together correctly. There are still 9 games to go, and a lot can change in 9 games.
