you mean how the bears open with a really hard first 4 games and likely to start 0-4 or 1-3 because of the hard schedule of dallas, packers and Giants?
Guess this year esp motown, doesn't seem any ryhme or reason to hard or easy
i mean yesterday the saints would destroy the crappy brown, the eagles should have no trouble the titans, favre swept the packers last year, so that's a "W' for vikes..buffalo will lose by 20+, denver will handle crappy oakland and never lose by 40..

Actually that Coach was Jimmy Johnson; he stated that you only had to worry about 1/3 rd of the teams in the league, the rest would either beat themselves in the game(either by talent/coaching or both), in FA, or in the draft. We fall into the other 2/3rds, we will either beat ourselves by talent(b/c of poor drafting) or poor coaching.
So far, the teams we faced, combined have a miserable win/loss record. That is not going to be the case in the 2nd half of the season. This week did prove that anything can happen on any given sunday; but it doesn't happen every Sunday. And if you expect the Jets, NE, Philly and Miami to beat themselves week in and week out. And don't expect them to suffer critical injuries in the two weeks prior to/or in the game when facing the Bears(also not likely to happen).

Against Detroit and GB, we found ways to lose but the other team was just better at losing. It doesn't take away from our record but the Skins did everything they could to keep us in that game and we done out "fucked up" them.
Other teams in the NFC have issues, be it injuries, poor play, or dumb play. Our issue is that despite our opponent making a boatload of mistakes we still need another boat. We got away with it early on, but I think it's pretty clear that ball ain't bouncing our way anymore.

This game was inexcusable, there are no excuses to be made about it.
These type of loses, NY Giants, Seattle [Home] and Washington [Home] would cost a lot of coaches there job.

I'd put the eagles( losses to redskins, packers and titans) in the same boat as us, atlanta, packers, washington, saints and if the giants lose tonight to dallas them also.. NONE of the teams in the NFC are showing any consistancy or that they are "teams to beat". All are a "any given sunday" sort of win/loss. The AFC are much more consistant, but that is not our conference.
Which is my only point, as fustrated as I am with the loss yesterday, just don't think with No other teams in the NFC stepping up yet, to throw the towel in on 2010

if the giants win today them and falcons have stepped up.

would losing the the crappy browns, the crappy cards witha rookie Qb, barely beating the awful panthers after losing all day AT HOME and losing at home to atlanta - should that cost a coach his job? as that is even worse- just curious

Which of those teams that the Bears lost to are better than the Falcons? Thanks.
