BEARS "D", 2nd by points, 6th overall, 4th against run
Well with all the negative and killing Bear threads( and they deserve it 100%). What is getting lost, IMO- is how Well the "D" has been playing, and if we had any semblence of consistancy on "O" we are probably 6-1 right now.The "D" is bringing their lunch pails each week, And even yesterday did everything to ensure a "W" and were let down by the "O"..The "D" is only behind pitts by points and 4th against the run and 6th over-all- which is more remarkable with all the 3 and outs, the "D" has been on the field longer than any other top "D"
its really good to see the "D" once again playing like a top "D" in 2010, after 3 off years- Just figured some kudos to the "D" is needed , as well as players like urlacher, peppers that are playing to their star status and "unsung" players like Big Toe, izzy, Dj moore and D. Manning that have stepped up and contributing weekly to the "D" being a top "D" again

D is the lone bright spot; I would say ST's, but after 2 weeks of Hester being Hester the league remembered why you kick away from him...oh no's we'll lose 10-20 yards...but their O will still have to move 40+ and if our D is that bad to let that O do that, well good for them.
The D has looked good, and if it were not for the Redskins own stupidity, the D would have single handedly won that game for us(2nd dj moore return).

I'd Still give the ST also alot of kudos- we are ranked #3 in league and even yesterday, while didn't have a big return( kicking out of bounds again), the coverage held to 20 yards on 4 punts and 21 yards on the kickoffs
And yep as said in another thread HATE that call for the time running down, either stop the play before starts, OR give the "D' the option to accept/decline it you throw the flag after- after all it is supposed to be a penalty and hurt the "O".. and also having those forced fumbles bounce back to the redskins also didn't help..: )

Probably first in most time on the field.

125 yards and 6 yards a carry to a third stringer. Let's all hold hands and skip over our ranking.

Aikman threw out a good stat yesterday...turns out we lead the league in causing 3 and out's.

Torain has looked like & is a beast of a runningback. Kudo's to him for rising from the ashes.
THE BEARS DEFENSE IS THE SHIT. THAT'S ALL THAT NEEDS TO BE SAID. THEY PLAY GREAT & WITH HEART.

Ok, I'm thinking Ravens here (when was their superbowl win?)
Our D is doing a kick ass job and is at the top of the list for almost all stats (very well rounded).
If our Offense would go to more of a ball control (don't lose it for us) offense, we could have a shot.
Noticed this week that Martz went to the hot routes for a while at the end of the half and we tore it up. Our run game was actually good this week, but Forte still only had 10 carries. (I iwll add that I don't know how many Taylor had).
