I mean since all teams like this and all the players want is their ferrari's and women, and none care about rivalries-its not changing with any other coach player or owner is it?.. I mean you can't go back in a time machine to the 1940's..and its what happens in the NFL today..
So what exactly do you want? and if so disillusioned, why get so fustrated and angry, if this is how you feel, and obviously that isn't changing with any player or coach-as this is just the culture.. Seems best thing is to just to move on. I stopped watching bsketball for the most part because became dissillusioned for my own reason's and honestly don't miss it and feel much better not wasting time on it and using my leasure time for activities that give me joy and not anger

please explain what would be different with any new owner, coach or player if the below is what you beleive
Seems since just a "job" to the players, coaches and owners.. not changing if have a different players/coaches and owners, the names may change but not the 'not giving a rat's ass and just a job" is it?
So then new players and coaches still going to their homes and have a job- nothing ahs changed has it
not following at all what you want
wELL, db......guess you answered you own question.
Since 1985 ....... what has changed?
hmmmmmm.......how many coaches????? ....... still the same OLD results.
......................... how many quarterbacks? ...... still the same OLD results.
......................... how many Running Backs, Wide Receivers, Tight Ends, Safeties, Offensive Lines.....yada yada........
Still the same OLD results.
How many OWNERS? ................... BINGO!!!!
The McCaskey's couldn't give a rats ass if we ever "win" another Super Bowl.
There's 27 McCaskey "families" living off the BEARS......(and that was in 1986).....and THAT'S the bottom line.

So please tell me who will be this charity owner? thanks!.. because I see 31 other owners in the league NOt being charity and caring about ticket sales, merchandise, raising ticket prices etc etc.. as all the things you hate and no team has won the superbowl consistantly so we know none fo the current owners meets your criteria.
And again since all the player care about is the million dollar homes and not wins and just a job.. where are you getting these players that are different?
i'm not following your plan and asking you for how it gets fixed based on your own criteria that all players and coaches in the NFL don't care about rivalries or wins and just a "job".. and who is this mystery owner that doesn't care about profits or taicket sales or merchandise and will get us superbowl wins each year( but if he is charging us alot for seats, doesn't that mean he doesn't meet your criteria?, so we need inexpensive seats and low cost merchdise also)

I will say that Papa Bear coached and stopped and then when he saw his coaches not winning he fired them and went back into coaching. That is an owner who cares. His own blood has this I don't have to work for it attitude it is just given to them. If Papa Bear was alive right now he would throw Lovie and his Tampa staff on their wallets and spit on them as he walked back into Halas hall. JA would have been buried under the opposing sideline (wouldn't even give him the pleasure of being buried under the 50). McCaskey needs to give the team to someone who loves Chicago football as much as Papa Bear.
Without weaponz it's just another airline!
I am here to chew bubble gum and kick butt and I am all out of bubble gum!

Yeah, it's not just hte McCaskeys, and in fact, haven't they opened their wallest a LOT since 2005/2006? They DO invest in this team, but they don't want to put too much money into it, which are reasons we may not understand. Could it be it'll **** up the finances they have, could it be that we might have a salary cap again?

we have been a top 5 spending team in the NFL the last 5 years, so pure bunk that we do not spend or that not spending money.

I don't think the problem is how much, it is where it is spent. What GM just cuts people without atleast seeing if the guy has trade value?

All teams cut players without trading them.. and because there is no 'want ads" for NFL players, we do not know if they tried first to trade and got no offers so just let a player go.
And with hindsight always easy o say what was the good or bad moves.. just saying that each and every year we do make moves and give your own good players deals, so trying to win and build a top team- that is doesn't alwasy work a sperate debate, but sorry cant buy the old 'they are cheap" nonsense .. or the "we don't get players".. when have gotten cutler, peppers, taylor, moose, tait, r brown, t jones fred miller, ogun etc etc... and retained top players like urlacher, kreutz, briggs harris, hester, etc etc.. We can debate as you said "if the signings worked out".. but not that at least trying, which is much different than the 1990's

wELL......I never said anything about whether or not they are SPENDING enough. God knows they are putting out money. But, isn't that also a big part of business? Should we give them a GOLD STAR???
You have to spend money to make money......?????
Of course they are spending.
It's what they are spending it on that's a joke.
If you're a coach in this city.....you better also bring your knee pads, cause you're gonna NEED them.
And you'd better know dam well how to say "Yes'sir.......Yes'sir ~ what ever you say Sir."
BTW.......got a great player that management just happens to NOT like (because he's not a YES MAN).....?????
Wondering where he went?......
Oh.......you'll find him over here riding the Pine Pony.
We'll figure out how to get rid of him eventually.
Now....get your ass out there in front of the media and support our mantra:
"RAH RAH RAH! ~ SIS BOOM BAH!!!!!!.......WE'RE CLOSE!!!!! GOOOOO BEARS!"
