Can we make the 3-4 conversion?
Most of the hot coaching candidates are 3-4 guys and the elite teams in the league seem to be 3-4 teams.
Can we make it work with a draft and free agency.
LE: Idonidje, Wootton
NT: Toeina, Adams
RE: Melton, Harrison
OLB: Peppers
MLB: Urlacher, Roach
MLB: Brigggs, Tinoasiamoa
OLB:
CB: Tillman, Bowman, Moore
CB: Jennings, Moore, Graham
FS: Wright, Bullocks
SS: Manning, Harris
I do not think that it will be as tough as we all think,
-Peppers would have to play the OLB spot and I think he is athletic enough to do it.
-We would need to find more talent at the rush LB position.
-We would need to draft a 3-4 NT.

if we made that conversion you are looking at another year where the resources go to the defense again and the offense will get ignored whic hwe are used to
also Ruskell will be our new gm and he isnt going to change things to a 3-4

I thought they should have done this a few years ago; all our real D talent is in the LB crew.

I don't think our corners can play man with much frequency, so they'd need to go. This is getting ahead of ourselves, but often when the conversion happens, a hybrid is run at the beginning.

Well the offense is fine, so yeah, lets screw with the defense...

Surprisingly..i agree with Nag...our defense isnt the problem.
Besides, the 3-4 is overrated...yes its a copy cat league, but there are cases of other teams switching to it and doing WORSE then they did before. I read an article on it couple weeks ago, ill see if i can dig it up.

I think that we have the players to be more innovative than just a 3-4 scheme. By the time we adopt it it will become passe'.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
