no...but I think that can be somewhat rectified. He's gonna get sacked no matter who's calling plays, but with a better line those number will/should go down. I like seeing big plays, and seeing a QB with a big arm zipping it in there. I like the system and I like Cutler in it. I would like to see more runs though...

**** forcing the deep routes. We should run and dink and dunk UNTIL we've set the table...
BTW, Just another reason why we should've gotten Pennington a long time ago...just sayin'

I am not a martz fan but even he can't fix this offense by himself. He knows we have no running game and I don't see running it 35+ times for 70 yards will help us win games when we have no offensive line that can open up holes like other teams have. I do think this thread would be better in the bar scene just so I can disagree with grizz and let off a few f-bombs towards his stupid thread. LOL

No, Martz is not a messiah. He is the one telling us we need to pass pass pass just because we're down a FG. We need to pull in the reigns, swallow that 4-3 pride we have and get the running game going. It seems like, oddly enough, once the passes start to connect, then we can start running, but we don't strive to keep the runs up; it's like Martz thinks "Okay, we got 4 good runs on this drive, for the rest of the game, we're throwing it deep!"

Attempting to run the ball even if it fails is better to put our defense in a position to win some games. There will be less negative plays, Cutler stays upright, interceptions are cut down, and time of possession increases which helps the D esp. when you are absolutely horrid on 3rd downs.

I would say keep Martz IF we can fix the OL next season. With a proper OL, i think we have the other offensive tools to make the offense work under Martz. We have seen flashes of what it is capable of, so i would imagine it would be even better with an OL that can block for Cutler as well as the run game. Hell, im just shocked seeing screen passes actually work under Martz, that in itself deserves a gold medal.

I would like to know the opinion of throwing 80+% of the time when old man winter hits. These horrendous stats will go down even FURTHER.
