WEEK 7 POWER RANKINGS Bears #16-18
Sporting news:
8. Green Bay Packers (11). Maybe they can use OLB Clay Matthews to scare away their specter of injuries
16. Chicago Bears (14). Just like last year, they need QB Jay Cutler to stop giving out interceptions like it was candy falling out of a pinata—or keep him from being hit like one.
17. Minnesota Vikin

(16). They should beware that creepy old man who's just lost it. Unfortunately, he plays quarterback for them.

fox:
16Packers
4-3-012/16That was a nice victory over Minnesota last week, but it won't change the fact that they have serious injury issues that won't be going away. The loss of TE Jermichael Finley will force QB Aaron Rodgers to find new passing options going forward.

18Bears
4-3-045/20It's getting more difficult to watch Jay Cutler each week, but I wouldn't put it all on the offensive line. He simply needs to make better decisions with the football. And it would help him and their offense if offensive coordinator Mike Martz would dial up more running plays
21Vikings
2-4-018/23Oh boy, just what they didn't need: another Brett Favre issue. But this one is just injury related. It's going to be very difficult for him to play on two fractures in his ankle, so it wouldn't be surprising to see this team continue to struggle offensively
29Lions
1-5-0-24/30Getting QB Matthew Stafford back this week will certainly help, but until their defense plays significantly better, Detroit will not win many games. One of the ways to help their much-maligned defense is to run the ball more efficiently

Hey DB. A suggestion.
Could you also add in the Bears next opponent every week? Just to get an idea of what the thoughts are on who we will face.

6. Green Bay Packers (4-3) - Previously: #8 - Remember that e-mail I posted last week where some douche said this Web site "sucks" because I had the Packers in my Top 10 and the Bears all the way down at No. 19? Vindication! Muhahahaha!
16. Minnesota Vikings (2-4). Previously: #17
22. Chicago Bears (4-3). Previously: #19

Walter will have to get off the Packers bandwagon and lower them in his power rankings once they lose two of their next four.

No prob.. a Bye this week so no opponent to put in..
BUT will say packers have jets and vikes have new england.. So very likely the bears NOT playing will result in an increase in our lead in the division to 2 games on packers and 3 on vikes..
