And I guess that makes the Bronco's, and SD, and Dallas great teams to; b/c they put up a ton of yards.....yards don't mean anything when the points don't go along with it. It doesn't mean anything when the team doesn't know what it is doing. It doesn't mean anything when you march goaline to goaline and find a way to turn it over instead of getting 3-7pts. Just ask all those great O's that are 2-5 how much yards mean.

Fumble. Int. Int. Int. Int.
That is 5 good points.
We brag about bend don't break, but they didn't break either. In fact, they executed.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh! I see.
Well, then.....I'll reiderate:
The LIONS beat themselves.
Had Calvin had STOOD UP with that ball....ran off the field, took it out to diner and brought it to bed with him......they would have BLEW OUR DOORS OFF.
They BEAT themselves.
We did NOT "Beat" the LIONS.

So "if" the liosn beat the bears by 2= "they blew our doors off".. but when we beat the panthes by 22-6 it's so what? we ddin't blow their doors off.. or So what? we beat dallas by 7 but didn't blow their doors off and beat greenbay by 3, but didn't blow their doors off.
this is the stuff that i sooooo infuriating.. you claima any bear win isn't blowing their doors off.. but somehow a win,, that if had a catch that would give the other team a 2 pt win- "they would have blown our doors off"
you over-exaggerate any negative and down play any good.. and never consistant.. how is a 7 pt and 16 opt win NOT blowing teams doors off.. but a 2 pt loss WOULD BE THE OTHER TEAM BLOWING OUR DOORS OFF?
So i take it we 'blew the doors off seattle and redskins" right??.. i mean if the ref didn't call that hold on mannings kick return "he takes the ball out to dinner and we blew the seattle doors off" right?.. and if the ref didn't call the clock penalty and moore took the ball out to dinner, we blew the doors off the redskins , or if lovie calls the challenge and we score from 1 cutler takes the ball out to dinner and we blew the redskins doors off, right?
IN BOTH GAMES THEY DID NOT BEAT THE BEARS
we beat ourselves, right?

Run the damned ball! Then after a while, you can play action pass. Passing to set up the run doesn't work. 28 unconverted 3rd downs in a row is evindence enough.
Haynesworth also said before the sneak some of the O Line were saying we're going to cut you cut you down so he decided to leap up and jump over everyone.

I completely agree with this, but the point is not that we executed anything. It is a refutation that they stopped us. Seriously, do you believe that we are going to turn the ball over like that all the time? If so, that is where we part ways. Cutler made bad mistakes, but if Lovie challenges the call at the goal line, we win that game. Where is Uncle Albert then???? At home licking his wounds.
I do believe that San Diego is a great team, they have IMPLODED on Special teams. They are # 1 in yards on both sides of the ball and it is not like they are not putting points up on the board.
We are NOT a great team, because we are not putting points up on the board, but that in no way makes Albert right on his claim that they knew what we were doing because of the talk. That is PURE Barbara Streisand from a guy trying VERY hard to look like he is doing something this year besides being an A$$.
We gained a ton of yards and except for a few bad decisions, bad plays and a few inches, all ON US, not on them beating us.
I agree with you, that your points keep us from being good or great, but they certainly do show Albert for the bone head he is.

Do you honestly think we can beat either the Patriots or the Jets? I do not think we can at all.

When you lose to a team you are supposed to beat because they are a horrid team, no matter how many points you lose by you are getting your doors blew off.
We got humiliated by the Skins and the Seahawks, wtf cares how badly we lost.

I thought a Loss was a loss? now it matters who we lose to? and somehow our losses our humiliating? and are you saying the redskins a horrid team in 2010, benj?
So since we were not favored to beat dallas and packers we blew their doors off, right no matter how muhc we won by? and those are "blow out wins".. if using your "metric
-
I don't care about any other damn team, the Bears have lost 3 of their last 4 and things are not looking good.

If you keep up with my posts and thoughts, you would see it all depends on how you win/lose.
And yes, when you lose to a team you are supposed to beat it is embarrassing. Redskins had one of the worst Ds in the league as you pointed out before we played them. Seahawks were a garbage team. We should have beaten both.
Cowboys yes.
Packers depends how you look at it. Yes, we forced them into all those penalties, no because we needed those penalties to win.
