Don't ruin this shimmer of hope for me man!!! Don't be a debbie downer.....
On a real note, it sounds like he is picking teams that might be close(not complete overhauls) that are possibly losing their coaches. NYG's before playing us looked like their Coaches last year; then they played us and all of a sudden they might be the best team in the NFC, and his job is looking a lot more secure. Meanwhile we are on a 1-3 slide, and Lovie was on the hotseat before the season...our arrow is definately pointing down. So it would make since for him to switch from NYG's to CHIB

http://blogs.nfl.com/2010/10/26/la-c...hing-hot-seat/ I heard that last night as well. I really like Cowher. I think he would fit in great with the Bears.

exactly, be at least 3,000 "cowher to X" team each week now until he is hired on any team that loses...expect whoever loses the denver/niner game this week, will be a "cowher to that team" article.. a cohwer to dallas after their next loss.. a cowher to Panther repeated if no one else any week article..

maybe we should get singletary I hear he is available lmfao
if there is any news on Cowher it is cause he is putting it out there that he wants to coach. I dont see a small market team going for him so Im looking at a team with deep pockets. My reasoning is the team has to afford firing a coach and paying a coach and still be able to afford to live if there is a lockout. I think it is way too early to speculate on the where though.

Well Down here- As he lives here and does some radio stuff, I get to hear him alot.. And he is smart and IMO looking to play the field and get the most ( and nothign wrong with that, capitalism at its best)..he of course always says Panther's 'may" be an option and then leaves the door open for any other team..I think he is going to who pays him the Most and if he wants total control, who also gives him the Gm stuff( which IMO in this day and age a Huge mistake, but can see a few teams desperate doing it)

Im not a big fan of the coach being the gm. He is a great coach. But lets not mistake where Pitt got its talent and that credit goes to their gm and scouting department. The evidence is there with them not missing a heart beat without him. If anything I would be cheerleading for a new gm from someone in Pitt or Balt crew then a HC to do both
