I believe Clark could contribute to the offense esp. BLOCKING. The ST excuse is BS, hey how's the ST stud Wolfe doing?

Sorry, I trust what I see on this one. He's not as shitty as some of you make him out to be.
Plus, this is just a speculative article.
Totally agree.
Are you guys crazy? Benching Williams would be ridiculous. He's not the best LT in the league, but he's still better than any other offensive linemen out there.
Do you really think guys like Omiyale, Louis, Garza, Shaffer, Webb and Kreutz can totally protect our QB? You serious?

Omiyale skews the entire line- he can't play guard so he's moved to RT where Webb learns on the job. CWill goes down and suddenly he's a bit better at LT. I can't see Omiyale being better at LT than CW. How can you get a honest evaulation of the lines performance and what the biggest draft need is?

That scenario throws out all the talk of continuity with the line play. They actually looked like a line during a few series the 2nd half last week

Jerry Angelo does not know how to trade up.
I have never seen a bigger coward come draft day than Jerry.

The way Haynesworth manhandled Willams on a couple plays imagine if Garza would have been in there

And like most drafts, I remember crying about not getting someone like Nicks in the mid rounds. The rebuttal, like this past year, was "what's a *blank* round rookie lineman going to do?" It's not what they'll do immediately, it's what they'll do down the road.
I think we could be in the same exact position next season. There's a lot of positions that could logically be addressed in the draft... especially DT and WR. If OL falls by the wayside again, it'll be deja vu. I have no idea who's going to be on the FA market.

Keep CW in.
Because when you think about the beat up old alternatives ...
He DID catch a pass ... : )
Cant think of a better way to destroy a first round picks confidence then to bench him.
He's gimped & doing the best he can under wounded circumstances.
The reason he's wounded is where is the help on O-L ?

THIS IS ANGELOS OFFENSIVE LINE ...
& when things fall apart he throws his picks to the wolves.
They take the blame ... Angelo is teflon.
