I think we could be in the same exact position next season. There's a lot of positions that could logically be addressed in the draft... especially DT and WR. If OL falls by the wayside again, it'll be deja vu. I have no idea who's going to be on the FA market.
the head scratcher to me is forget the holes and think of this. How the hell could this gm have a job or can anyone defend him when not one of his first round picks are relevant? I dont get why people defend him and I dont get how the org bothers with this guy. Just look at the list its etrocious.

The reason he's wounded is where is the help on O-L ?

THIS IS ANGELOS OFFENSIVE LINE ...
& when things fall apart he throws his picks to the wolves.
They take the blame ... Angelo is teflon.
Not for much longer ....... ( if there's anyone in the ft office that still has two working brain cells left ).
What should you call any : Fumble , Hold , Interception , Three and out , or Sack ?
A " F.H.I.T.S " ? or a J'Marcus ?

To everyone hating on CWill and that pick. Who would you have picked over a guy who let up 2 sacks over his final two seasons in the SEC that is loaded with great DL talent? The guy behind him in Brandon Albert who has one of the worst pass pro indexes in the league at LT? Cherilous who sucks? Otah who is an average RT, which exactly what his upside was in the draft. We needed to grab one of those OTs and we picked the one with the highest upside at our pick. I stand by his stats at LT that show Chris has actually been very much above average there. In his first seven games at his natural LT, he shut out studs like Jared Allen down the stretch last season, and only allowed 3 sacks and 9 hurries through to this year. He's been good at the position outside of one prefuckingseason game we actually drafted him for, problem is they threw him at RT to make room for a geriatric Pace and now LG to accommodate Omyhell and Webb, who haven't picked up a single six gap rusher all year.

Have to agree. I wasn't overwhelmed by the pick at first, but it made sense. And half of the guys NFL career he's been played out of position.

Pace really threw everything off. From him unable to stay healthy, to he lost a couple steps and still they signed him, and to Williams development as an LT.

19. Carolina (From Eagles)- Jeff Otah, OT Pittsburgh
15. Kansas City (From Lions)-Branden Albert , G Virginia
21. Atlanta (From Redskins)- Sam Baker, OT USC
16ArizonaDominique Rodgers-Cromartie
18BaltimoreJoe Flacco - QB
In that order. Once Clady was gone, and since they were not going to go RB(liked Mendenhal but whatever) I really wanted us to go after Flacco and let KO play one year, then let the two fight it out. It would have saved us 2 1sts and a 3rd, as Flacco is perfectly capable qb. Since we went OL I would have taken any of those guys over a guy w/a jacked up back.

I'm pretty confident CW will develop, he missed an entire season so he's behind. Not many step in and are great from the beginning, ask the packers how Bulaga looks because he is getting owned right and left no matter where they play him.
