Which 5 games in a row (out of the 9 left to play) would those be? (Bills, Vikings, Dolphins, Eagles, Lions, Patriots, Vikings, Jets, Packers).
The ones highlighted. The Bills and Lions need no explanation. The Vikings are in disarray and Smith has had success against Favre. The Bears have had success against Michael Vick. The Dolphins are the only one of the 5 that concern me so that's a maybe.

I think the Bears best football is in front of them. The football season is a marathon, not a sprint. I'm hoping the o-line at least becomes average (for 2010). Stay tuned.

How can an owner keep someone like that when they see in every year they are investing in a bust?

It is BAD business. Lets talk offensive line only. Who can the Bears keep, who should be kicked to the curb, and what position(s) should be addressed regardless...!!!

Kreutz would have to stay. He appears to be the least of the Bears worries at this point. After that I am lost. There is too much shuffling taking place to make fair assessments of some of those lineman. What is Williams, a guard or tackle now.??? Whatever it may be, it is going to take more than next season to fix this...if there is a next season...!!!

Did the Bears REALLY need him...?!? You can not think of ONE other area that that season that required attention...?!? A RB really...??? Come on, he may have been a good pick, but for any other team than the Bears...!!!

that is why you dont let a position deteriorate like that. You dont overbid for another teams backup that started once in 4 years. Is that the quality they want starting? Then we go into this season and they give us a bum backup they overbid for and two 7th rounder as new starters lmfao what a plan

no the problem started when the Bears negotiating tactics alienized him from the team. Allowing the "leaders" of the team alienize him didnt help either.

    We agree on the Bills.

The Vikings will be a tough game. You state that the Vikings are in disarray. Well, so are the Bears. And I would say that the Vikings have MUCH more talent on their roster.

The Dolphins could be a possible "W". The Dolphins seem to be scoring about as much as the Bears. The key will be how successful the Bears offense is in that game.

The Eagles will be tough. Lets see how they fare in their next (3) games.

The Lions. We ONLY beat them by (5) in our last meeting. And we will be playing them in Detroit. The outcome of this game will depend not only on which Bears team shows up, but, which Lions team also...

In all seriousness, do you believe that the Bears really needed a RB THAT season, in THAT round...!!!

no they didnt but it was a weak draft. I mean lots of hindsight with that draft when a guy like Mike Williams was considered the best inthe draft lol. Only four first rounders in that draft have been good.

But we did take a rb and give him a top 5 pick deal. The wrong part is we took him and allowed team politics to ruin it. With the way our offense was I had no problem with the dual rb.

It was the fourth overall pick. You don't use that on Logan Mankins. And for what its worth, Thomas Jones eneded the previous year with good numbers, but he was not an elite back by any means.

This team is not as talented as some serious contender teams and that is a fact.

The draft has killed us as I cannot name a 1st round pick on the roster right now that is an elite or pro bowl player today.

Jerry has killed this team with serious busts like

    Michael Haynes
    Rex Grossman
    Cedric Benson
