Yep- and as much as People bash lovie for the stock answers like bellicheat does- it IS the smarter choice and as you said the coaches being vocal never last long and usually lose the team quick..While it may not be some people's 'cup of tea".. inthe coaching world, esp in he big media cities- its how you keep the job

NFL flms yesterday had a special on Andy reid, and most of it about how he avoids the media, how he clears his throat when asked dumb or baiting questions and never answers them- and he and sabol talking about how its kept him emplaoyed in philly so long because he has the the "art of saying nothing" down to perfection

In 2006....after the BYE ~ they absolutely BLEW. And the ONLY thing that held them together, again, was the Defense, and a fairly good offense.

And, let's face it.......although the Arizona game was awesome, it was also a ONE MAN SHOW (and ALL after Halftime)....and that "one man" ~ AGAIN, was on which side of the ball?????
after the bye the bears went 8-3.. beat seattle in the first round and then obilterated the saints 39-14.. and to you that = THEY BLEW?

    you really have lost it..

after the bye beat the ginats 38-20, the rams 42-27, tampa 34-31 and niners 41-10 for games were the "O" not "D" were the highlight- you really have lost any objectivity

Yeah his froggy throat has him there, not the fact he's been to a bazillion NFC Championship games and up around the playoffs every year.

So as long as Lovie plays it cool and perhaps learns to emphatically clear his throat, we're stuck with him.

No- that he has LOST A BAZZILLION NFC CHAMPIOSHIPS, would usually get a coach fired well before now, and when they have the ncnabb controverys, the T.O. Stuff.. the rush stuff, the vick.. etc etc.. reid instead of Falling for the media "baiting"
and getting himself dragged into and down goes his career- he by avoiding it,, and saying the same thing.. Keep's his job unlike a "diddly Poo" or a " you know crap" that take down coachs like a mora, ditka, denny green etcetc

    Ahhhh........excuse me DB. My bad......

I was under the impression that the Quarterback was considered part of the Offense.

    Silly me.

GOOD REX ~ TRAIN WRECKS - GOOD REX ~ TRAIN WRECKS ~ GOOD REX ~ TRAIN WRECKS........right to the very end were he finally, and forever, morphed into TRAIN WRECKS.

And, I'm sorry......but our DEFENSE is what carried us to the Super Bowl........not WRECKS GROSSTESQUEMAN and the Offense.

The offense still wasn't bad, but our DEFENSE is what got us there. THEY were just eating teams alive. And if I remember correctly, it was the GIANTS that said it was the "fastest Defense they had ever seen".

I don't know the stats but were any of those coaches in control of a winning team when they were let go?

    PLAYOFFS?!?!?!?!

If you win you stay, I'm from PA know a ton of Eagles fans and they're split 50/50 some like the winning and some think he will never get them to the promised land so although nice to be in contention every year it's time to blow the thing up.

ummmmmmm ...... I would call that fantastic.....but, I really don't recall saying ANYTHING negative about our 2010 Defense......could you point that out for me?

    Incidentally.......
"The bears "D" gave up 31 points,20,27,31,21 and 26 points is now "eating teams alive"??"

Ok you've shown me 2 bad or "subpar" seasons he's had, don't think they quite offset all the good ones, jeez he's had more NFC Championship appearances than losing seasons??

    Get outta here.
