I've been to a few NFL and XFL games when they could be seen out here. There's just something about the sun, the smell of the turf, and football. Sorta seems like a shame to keep it inside...

Dome's are for pussies, this is true. But if we ever want a Super Bowl in Chicago, we need one.
So, I say a little of both. A retractable dome.
This way we can take advantage of the weather and pick and chose what we play in.
For example, Atlanta or New Orleans or other warm weather cities, make them play in the snow.
If it is really windy, which would hurt our offense, close the dome.
If we get a dome, we will get a Super Bowl here for sure.

Like they'd ever open the dome if it's less than 50 outside. Just look at Indy. Retractable domes never open during bad weather.

I think the Bears might though, as much as the coaches and players love using the "Bear Weather" card.
