If the Bears got a new stadium.....Dome or Outdoorsy?

For me, I say let's go with a dome. Outdoor games really aren't as cool as everyone makes them out to be, and seeing how half of our division is already playing in them, why not? Rainy, muddy or even snowy games really do suck to watch, unless you like watching people bust their asses. Who's with me?

I don't want to see the entire NFL going dome, which would be a step closer when a traditional outdoor Bears team adopts one. I want us to be the LAST team to be outside if thats the case and teams despising coming here.
I say outdoor w/way better turf

Yeah, better turf, no one will disagree with. I just think it's worth a discussion, and personally, I'd rather watch a game where the teams are completely matched up. Don't forget that Domes are usually louder, and no one's louder than Bears fans (As I witnessed myself at the cowboys game).

They don't call it "BEAR" Weather for nothing...

Open top, and for turf I'm torn, cause it looks like we have more footing issues on the crap we play on now... but the stats show it's actually safer as far as Injuries go...

I want CAPACITY, none of this under 70,000 seating with sky high prices. more capacity, lower ticket prices, which in turn lead to bigger concesion sales, merchandise... ect...

IDK, personally I think the weather thing has been played out. True, it was amazing to watch the Bears STOMP the saints with it snowing as bad as it was, but I can also remember getting beaten by the Steelers in our home field a year prior. Plus with this being a pass first league now, a Dome might make more sense, to get our guys in sync with one another...

I think if you ask those who have been around for a long time they will tell you that Minny gave up a distinct advantage when they went dome.

    Outdoors.
