Yeah Vanderbilt is a real powerhouse and his 32nd ranked defense and injury prone run game wasn't helping him in Denver much hence the 616 pass attempts in 08.

yep vandy didn't have squat, but when that is all that is really recruiting you(if the guy was a high quality recruit) he would have ended up in a top program. The guys from Indiana, and ended up in an SEC school? If the big 10 didn't want ya, there might be a reason for it. Hell even no talent Rex Grossman ended up in a top flight SEC program, not F'n Vandy.

With all due respect, Ric, the SEC usually dominates the Big Ten in bowl games. I can think of no more glaring example of a struggling Big Ten team against the SEC other than Ohio State and their 0-8 record against SEC opponents, including their losses to Alabama in the 1978 Sugar Bowl, Florida in the 2007 BCS Championship Game, and LSU in the 2008 BCS Championship Game. My best friend and his dad attended The Ohio State University, which also happens to be my favorite college football team, and they will admit that most of the great football talent is migrating southward because of one major factor: better weather. Now, Florida, Alabama, Auburn, Ole Miss, LSU, and Georgia have prime real estate in which to recruit, but outside of Florida, no state in the SEC possesses the raw reserves of talent that the states of Ohio and Pennsylvania have. It's something to think about.
