Moss' agent says that he has already received calls from the Dolphins and the Seahawks.

Randy Moss at 50% is better than Devin Hester at 100%.

The Bears should go after him, at this point he'd probably become Jay's number one receiver because he can run routes.

3 of them. And they are kind of similar.
Now, granted, he does those 3 VERY well. However, they aren't quick routes so with our protection problems he's kind of a waste.

Pompei: Bears unlikely to make run at Moss

By Dan Pompei
That loud exhale you just heard came from Tim Jennings: The 5-foot-8 Bears cornerback no longer has to worry about covering the 6-foot-4 Randy Moss when the Bears take on the Vikings in two weeks, and then again Dec. 20.
Moss was waived by the Vikings on Monday, a little more than month after they gave up a third-round draft pick to acquire him from New England. Moss apparently was not all the Vikings hoped he would be, but releasing him is a drastic measure.
Moss will go through the waiver process now, and there probably is a good chance he will be claimed. The team with the worst record in the league, the Bills, will have first crack at him. If Moss is not claimed, he will be a free agent, able to sign with any team.
It's difficult to envision the Bears making a run at Moss. They like their top receivers. They don't need to bring in a trouble-maker at midseason. And Moss might not be an ideal fit for Mike Martz' offensive scheme.

This is amazing news as a division rival of ours is now officially going down in flames. This will hurt them next year as they traded an impact draft pick [Top 80] for nothing.
The best part about this is that Chilly just signed a huge extension after last offseason and probably cannot be fired. Imagine the Vikings next year no Moss, No Favre and they still have Chilly in control.
The Bears should sign him because 50% of Randy Moss, is better than 100% of Devin Hester.

Is Dan Pompei a homer idiot?
His Lovie Dovie "The Bears are in a Great Position" "The Bears do not Need a Real WR" Articles are starting to get to be a little much. This team needs a spark and talent at OL and WR.

I'd like to see what the reaction would be if it was a quality Olineman and we did nothing like always.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.
