I just look at it this way
imagine having Moss and Bennett as the one and two on the team with Knox and Hester as the 3 and 4. Olsen becomes irrelevant. Teams will have to play nickle all game against us cause those two speed freaks would go crazy. And if they have the wrs covered in nickle all day it will help the running game really open up.
We look like we are in a free fall on offense anyways we need a change. Look at how things opened up for Harvin with Moss out there

Yeah, they might work but here's how i see it. Moss likes to go deep, sweet, but our o-line (like the Vikes line, but worse) can't hold a block so forget that; and the other team could set their safeties deep because our run game sucks. So we go with some short passes but D. Angelo Hall will sit on those routes, which aren't run all that well anyway.
Then, Moss starts to tell everyone what he thinks and then runs over a crossing guard.

I got this far with your post before an ugly image of Jerry Angelo blocked out the rest of your message.

Sorry your wonder boy DA couldn't figure out what the hell the playbook was for. Hester CONSTANTLY get's repspect from other teams in the form of double coverage, and guys doing just about everything they can to make sure he doesn't get the ball in any WAY SHAPE FORM OR FASHION. Knox is also showing signs of being a top tier reciever for years to come.
Eveyrone is so high on Jay George it's not even funny. our recievers have been open underneath, they've been open Deep (thanks DA). you want to be just another arm chair QB who muddying up the waters for those of us who ACTUALLY know a thing or two about the game at the NFL level, be my guest...
it's better to shut up and appear foolish, than open your mouth and remove all doubt TD.
The only time I see teams scheming against DH is on KR/PRl; which he was SOOOOO good at wr that the reduced his duties at wr to gain more time at KR/PR again....ya he's a scarry beast at wr.....
Right now Bennett is the only consistant threat at wr. DA doesn't know the playbook; supposedly yet Cutler was able to get him the ball at a ypa clip that was better then DH's. Yet DH still has to be told what side of the field he supposed to line up on....yep you're point is SO valid. Keep buying what the bears political machine is selling....all the way to another 7-9 wins.

As a thread elsewhere was discussed Darryl Drake hasn't developed squat. I don't understand why he was even retained considering the "mad genius" playbook and the % of passes we attempt. WR coach should be a foundational hire for someone like Martz and again you see the buddy system in play.
Next you have some kind of weird hierarchy and now we see Hester relegated quietly back to more PR. When the offense could protect we saw DA at least do a few things.
Then you have the TE position which for all intents and purposes Martz has only paid lip service to. Clark is in mothballs where he could contribute and if you include his BLOCKING ability he could contribute significantly.
I truly believe we are going to see improvement just like the end of last year. Panic mode will demand canning the stubbornness and we again will see the false positive of "improvement" and it'll start all over again.
Todd Collins as the 2nd qb? No the receivers aren't the problem- Martz is.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Personally I think it's high quality BS...
anyone that has watched the games, can see the recievers stop on routes, and making bad breaks..
At the beginning of the season,it was stated that the recievers in Martzs' system needed to learn to make right angle breaks.
Granted some routes are slants, but for the most part, the routes have been uneven.
I love Knox, but even the hotdog vendor saw him get knocked off his route and quit running.
It seems everyone is piling on Cutler now, fairly or not.
He does need to make better decisions, but he also needs help, from the OC,the O-line;AND his recievers.
Might be a moot point,I think the Bears coaching staff will get blown up at years end anyway.
