Benji, the last time the Bears were ever decent on 3rd Down conversions was probably 2006.

    I was thinking 1926....
    10-7-07 Bears 27,Fudge Packers 20...12-23-07 Bears 35,Fudge Packers 7
Then Favre quit and became a Jet...

It could quite possibly be pre-1920, in which case, it never has happened!

Dez Clark has been one of the QB's top targets while with the Bears, and he blocks well also. I don't understand not using him. I still kind of feel we would be better off with a regular fullback. But maybe that's just me.

On the Taylor TD, I was surprised to see fatboy Manu in the FB position.

It worked just the way it was drawn up! FB takes out the extra 'backer in the hole and TD!

    Learn it Martz!!

I didn't realize that you were a New York Yankees fan! I've been a fan of the Yankees since I was 8 years old. My all time favorite player is Don Mattingly, and my dad's is Mickey Mantle.

But yeah, you are right. Desmond Clark needs to be used, if for nothing more than his blocking prowess.
