Offense looked a lot better against the bills than it did against the Redskins...
Nobody' is saying the Bears are the end all be all of the league but for crying out loud give a little credit when it's due huh???....
god damn man... this is getting ridiculous.

we had 2 weeks to prepare of an 0 win team, who ranks at the bottom of damn near everything and it was a struggle...god damn man you walked away happy w/that? I was relieved and happy that we are 5-3...but convined we will be another 7-9 win team.

Really not much you can do when QB is firing shots to the proper spots his WRs are. Some of those throws were very nice, and if he throws over Jennings head we're talking a different story today.

Great question Nerrad. Still don't get that logic myself.

Cause our D is predicated on keeping the play in front of you, swarming the ball, and getting the turnover.
we dont' wrap tackle, cause we're taught to go for the ball... that leads to more irritating third down completions, but it also is the reason we lead in take aways...
and even if we play press, it's still pretty easy for a reciever to squeek. a quick slant route and beat a reciever inside...
it's actually the Safer play is to leave a cushion... I know everyone hear here is gonna bust their "I played in high school, I coached, My mom's wifes best friends' cousin knew a guy who has an assistant at the college level".... blah blah blah...
it is what it is. we're a turnover defense... and that is the safest/most likely play to
1. prevent the homefun
2. get the turnover
3. stand a guy up so the next one can come in and get ball...
it's all about going after the ball.

We are doing a lot of things right on defense, though our pass coverage could tighten up some. I like the fact that they like to catch opposing offenses napping by going for the ball. They tackle pretty well for the most part, but remember: we don't have the talent on defense that we had in the past, and what's there is rapidly aging.
