weak coverages
I know at times our 2ndry played really well; but it seemed like the Bills threw at will on us at times; and again it seemed like our corners were playing 10yrds off the wr's at the snap. Teams are just going to dink and dunk us all the way across the field, allowing us to lose field position.

fitzpartick looked like manning at times today. was ridiculous. and WHY THE HELL do we still play 7 yards off on 3rd and short? makes for an easy completion.

It has worked against 5 of the 8 teams they played, so I'll take it.

23-40, thats the combined record of the teams we have played, so my points stands. You can pull this crap against teams that suck, but the better teams that we have faced(.500 or better), we have lost 3 of those 4 games, we cannot do this against them and consistantly win; the 2nd half of the schedule is full of those teams. The 5 teams we have beaten have a combined 9 wins, of which GB has 5, Carolina 1 win, Det 2 wins, 0 Bills, 1 Dallas, ie bad teams. We face 5 teams that are .500 or better(only 1 is .500) and 3 that are below(Minny 2x's and Det). Both of those teams are dangerous though, Det should have beaten the Jets today, and Minny is starting to hit their stride.

Have you watched the games for the past few years ??? Thats lovie piss's cover 2 scheme , w/the corners on the flat, LBs in the middle, and the safteys down the sides of the field. For that to work the front 4 has to apply pressure otherwise, any rookie OB can pick it apart easily. Thats why fitzpatrick or whoever was having success cause i think we only had 1 sack today and not alot of pressure

I wish I had NFL Sunday Ticket. I would love to keep up with what is going on in real time. But yeah, we're stopping the run pretty effectively. These teams are just dumping passes for short gains and it's serving up like a running game normally would. We have to defense that better.

Bills did the same thing to the Ravens. who ALSO boast a top 5 defense.
