I think alot depends on the supporting cast you have around you when it comes to developing players and the coaching staff. I think having tice as the lines coach is a good start and we need more time for him to develop.

We have tice right now and I think he is the right guy for the job where prior to having him most of our OL, WR, QB coaches were not good.

I would agree with that. I don't quite understand what Tice is doing, or if the personell decisions are all his, but it's obvious he's trying freaking anything at this point, lol.

I think Tice knows this line sucks and I think he is trying to make adjustments on hoping something good will happen. The Dallas game is a good example of him making changes along with Mike Martz making adjustments in that game. I think the thin depth chart we have on the OL is catching up on us real fast.

My list of OL suckage
1. Chris Williams
2. Olin Kreutz
3. Roberto Garza
4. J'Marcus Webb
5. Frankie Says Relax, as much as it pains me to say it.

After the sucky season Omiyale had last year you'd think his confidence would be shattered but that doesn't look to be the case. If C-Wil is defeated that easily then he truly is a bust. Can C-Will even beat out Webb for RT?

either put williams there, or Schaffer. Williams is def. a better T than Guard, because he's dealing with more finesse guys, rather than bull rushers.

Williams, to my uneducated eye, lacks the desire, power and the handwork to be effective. I will say this, I saw him in person a couple of years back, he seemed really soft to me then. I mean like baby fat soft. He didn't look like someone I should be afraid of at all. I'd prefer Olinemen I'm scared to death to get near.

You mean the ones who don't shower a few days prior to the game Bearstuff? Lol.
I wouldn't call Williams a bust. They keep moving him around on the line, not every player is going to be epic in each position. I'd give him another year at one position, and if he fails at that then yeah you could probably label him as a bust.

I'm wondering how many seasons do you give a player before you call him a bust. Considering many players get redshirted here the waiting period may be shorter/longer.
