Izzy may have single handedly won us that game.
Say what you will about Jennings making the pick which helped us seal up the game, the game saving/winning play came much earlier.
Think about this, both team scored three TDs, and nothing else.
The difference is, Izzy blocked the extra point for the Bills, and they missed the 2 pointer on their final score of the game.
Bears scored three TDs as well, and a 2 pointer on their final TDs of the game.
If the Bills had not of missed the extra point, there would be no need to go for two on the following TD, and they would have had 21 points.
Bears would not have gone for two if the Bills had not of had their extra point blocked, because it would not have made sense.
With the Bills at 19 and Bears at 20, they needed the 2 pointer to make sure a field goal would not beat them. If the Bills had 21, bears would have just kicked the extra point.
I doubt how the rest of the game played out would have changed, because the ball was never turned over, and the Bills just had to kick off.
Game would have likely gone into overtime (third week in a row for the Bills) where anything could happen.
That is why I say Izzy won us the game!

There are always a bunch of plays that make or break a game in the NFL. Jennings INT was big, DJ Moore on the final drive on the tip that CHarris picked was huge too, and one of the biggest plays was Cutler missing Forte on the easy TD in the first half. You can't make every throw but you have to hit him on that play, if not the TD then at least get it out there enough so he gets the big gain, Cutler missed bad on that throw.

I would give martz's play calling on offense a good grade.

Had the extra point not been blocked, id agree. Jennings would have helped tie the game and that would have been the play of the game.
But Izzy's block was still the game winner.

Yeah I liked the play calling yesterday, really commited to the run and had Cutler on the move, which resulted in some big first downs with his scrambling. They even punched it in on the goal line which is rare.

Some of the plays were good and it was nice not seeing Jay get pounded.

Cutler was great in denver with throwing on the run ... glad to see that blended into the play calling with a commitment to the run.

Damn, I wish I had NFL Sunday Ticket or, better still, I could live in the Chicagoland area.
