    Dolphins waive Jason Allen after signing Al Harris

    Jason Allen's tenure with the Miami Dolphins has come to an end.
    The Dolphins announced today that after signing cornerback Al Harris, they have waived Allen, a cornerback taken with the 16th overall pick in the 2006 NFL draft.
    Allen was a favorite of former Dolphins coach Nick Saban, who unsuccessfully attempted to recruit Allen to LSU and then coached against him when Allen was at Tennessee. But he was mostly a disappointment with the Dolphins.

    This season Allen has started seven games and intercepted three passes.

    I think this would be a better pick up for us as he is younger and healthier.

    We need someone who can come in and push Tillman to start.

    We should pick him up immediately. Our front 7 would make him look a lot better. As for tillman he has always been a sub sub-par player(thats not a typo) Yea he can punch the ball out, but can he cover above average or young recievers? NO. Watch tillmans play and see for yourself

    they released him for a 35 year old coming off acl injury. Something is up if that is the case. And when he was coming into the league the main concern for teams was a degenerative hip I believe.

    I'm surprised with all of the Tillman hate. His whole career he's been covering the #1 receiver of the opposing team. I think he's been underestimated his whole career. He may not be having a great year this year, but I definitely don't consider him to be sub sub-par.
