The thing about Jeff Fisher, BearStuff, is that Bud Adams is eerily similar to the Rooneys in Pittsburgh: he believes in coaching stability. I just don't see Jeff Fisher getting fired. When he went 3-13 in 2005, they didn't fire him then, and this year, they are leading the AFC South Division I think, as well as they are the leading scoring offense in the NFL. They always have a wicked defense that hits hard. I just think that it would be a stretch to see Jeff Fisher fired by the Titans.

I wouldn't hate Toub taking over. He does more w/less then any of our other coaches; which infers actual coaching is going on.

I bet Bill Cowher will end up as the Cowboys' new HC.

Cowher's people have said he has no interest in the Cowboy's. My bet is Gruden, Billick, or Jason Garret.

Coaching the entire team is much different then coaching just Special Teams.

Can he do it? I have no idea...but like everyone else, im not opposed to the idea. If it happens, then i really do wish him the best and hope he proves to be quality HC material.

I'm sorry, but I'd take Schottenheimer of the Jets, just because dude knows how to mix it up on offense. I think he'd work with Cutler a lot better than Turner or Martz.

Toub is great, but sometimes a ST coach doesn't mean he can be a head coach. Just like Dick LaBeau stunk as a head coach, went back to Pitt, and suddenly they are the best defense in the NFL again after he returned and every draft pick on defense turned out to be great. Buddy Ryan was a great defensive coach but really never did squat as a head coach.

Ditka was a special teams coach, I believe, and he had great success with the Bears. Just saying. I could be wrong.
