say what your all saying is we have no real honest to god talent thanks to JA...

    Johnny Knox
    Jay Cutler
    Lance Briggs
    Devin Hester
    Matt Forte
    Major Wright
    Daniel Manning
    Chris Harris X2
    Chester Taylor
    Greg Olsen
    Pisa Tinoisamoa
    Tommie Harris
    Julius Peppers
do I need to keep going?... your looking a bears team FULL of talent. FULL OF IT. where do you think it came from??... JERRY ANGELO. your all mad at the guy cause the O-line is a bit neglected. every GM has Busts. EVERY GM has FIRST ROUND Busts. Teams are getting pro bowlers in the first round and dishing out big money, but because JA finds them in later rounds, ends up saving us an assload of money early on somehow that equates to him being the worst in the league.

Am I saying JA is the BEST? NO.
am I saying I'd be upset if he was replaced??? NO.

Am I saying the guy deserves all the credit in the world for the fairly large amount of big name talent we got??? absolutley.
How man house hold names on the bears???.... how man can you name around the league for other teams???

I bet you we're up around the top somewhere. if we had 1... ONE pro bowl linemen, you'd all be over his jock right now about how much talent we have....but ONE... ONE glarring weakness and you guys wanna castrate the guy.

    pshh.... whatever.

If it was Deserved yeah... but it's like everyone's sayin he hasn't done ONE SINGLE GOOD thing for chicago... and that's so far from the truth it's not even funny.

Then I've heard the argument that the Bears can't develop talent. well how in the world to you blame the GM for that?? the guy could be bringing in 5 start talent, but if it's true what your all saying, and there bears CANT develop talent like other teams once again.... the JA sucks argument holds NO WATER.

The one thing that stands out to me is we have a boat load of playmakers. do we not?
How many house hold names do we boast?
how good is our Defense right now?
How close our we to being an offensive power house for years to come??

Who do we have to thank for that?.... dont' worry... I'll wait.

Jerry Angelo has built a 1 million dollar house with a plywood foundation. The elements are now pouring in. It's pathetic.

It would be different if he had a 100,000 house with a solid foundation, but that's just not the case.

This causes Jerry Angelo to look like a fool.

elaborate on the whole plywood foundation..
Cause the FOUNDATION of this team is Rock solid, and I'm a bit befuddled on how you guys are drawing your conclusions.

I have seen more impact from Tommie Harris this year than Major Wright.

Cutting Alex brown and using one of our few draft picks on a DL was brilliant. Drafting a qb in the 6th round was great? Trading away a 2nd round pick for Gains Adams and trading down last year only to cut our top 2 picks from last year. Has Angelo ever traded up to get a talented player?

we have no idea how the Gaines Adams deal would have played out. for all we know he could have been the next Julius peppers, or the next Mark Anderson.

and why would you trade up if your money in later rounds?? cough up big money on high draft picks that have a record of not working out?? or like any poker player or athlete you play to your strengths, which fo JA actually works out BETTER, cause he lands top round talent at a late round price, freeing up cap space to pay those players like briggs, aquire FA's like pep, taylor... Ect.

I feel like everyone is taking a knee jerk, one dimensional approach to how they view the bears. Nobody like's a homer who only see's the positive, and nobody likes trying to talk football with people who are just hell bent on hating every facet of this team from top to bottom.

it' bugs me to no end. I'm all about talking about the flaws, but when nobody want's to acknowledge the positives we DO have... it just get's to be so old and worn out... I hate to use cliche's but.... you guys really are beating a dead horse with the gloom and doom day in... and day out.
