Does anyone know when Oklahoma State Cowboys HC Mike Gundy's contract expires?

The Bears do need someone they can build on. Not a person who is gonna be here for a couple of seasons collect a pay check and check out. I would like to see them do it the right way not another quick fix or what is popular at the time. Just know not to expect a SB in the new guys first year or two. Rebuilding would also have to happen, new o-line, DB's and other key postions. It will be another couple painful years until this team will even seem to be on the right track, but it will be worth it if the Bears go about it the right way.

That's why it's gotta be Bill Cowher or Jeff Fisher IMO. ;-)

The first thing I would ask these guys would be, Are you willing to coache for ten plus yrs? If so what way can this team be made into a dynasty team not just a shooting star team.

Those two are Shooting stars if not a flash in the pan type coaches, not what the Bears need.

Sure. That's why I mentioned them both. ^^

We need young up and comers. Think Sean Payton types. But no Jason Garrett. Jason, who only had 3 years of OC experience and always seemed to be flirting with other teams, and needed to be bribed to stay in Dallas. We obviously should go after someone who's got a good work ethic and whose team doesn't slide when injuries aren't a factor. But regardless, if we change HC's, we gotta implode this thing like an abandoned building. New GM, maybe new President, along with the new HC. I like windycity's idea of a new GM, someone who's dealt with getting good OL.

I am thinking of a Bill Parcels type Person. Not Bill himself but something like that. Someone to come in tear it down from top down and rebuild something that can make playoffs. Because if a team can make the playoffs there is always a chance at the big game. I would be happy if Parcels consulted and that is it. Nice to get an experts unbias opinion.
