Don't believe so. Why does that matter?

They have prime time this week, and in four more weeks a MNF game.

They have four prime time games, 2 MNF, 1 SNF 1 TNF.

How many prime time games do they need to have to make you happy about their number of appearances?

Again, having four prime time games is about right. It is a quarter of their season.

WTF is your problem, Benji? I made a simple f*cking statement stating that if it had been one of any number of teams getting bumped up in the time slot, they would be playing it on Sunday Night Football. That's ALL I said. Yes, I would prefer that they show more games in prime time because unlike you, I don't get to watch all that many Bears games without paying a fortune to get NFL Sunday Ticket on my DirecTV. We don't get hardly any games on Fox or CBS because teams like the Titans (understandable, they are our local team), the Falcons, the Panthers, the Saints, and yes, those evil doers, the Indianapolis Colts because Peyton Manning plays for them and he attended the University of Tennessee, get shown. The Dallas Cowboys seem like they're on the tube one out of every two weeks, as are the New York Giants and Washington Redskins. It makes me sick to see the Colts and Cowboys especially since they aren't local, but that's the hand we're dealt.

Sorry if this comes across as hateful and belligerent, but I don't like the tone you spoke to me using.

Wow! The thread actually started about one game being changed to 4:15. So all the rest of the arguments on the side about the team has this or they have that are far enough off topic that it's hardly worth discussing, much less arguing about. So since it takes two to tango, one should hardly be telling the other they are being rude, crude, or otherwise unfriendly.

So, does anyone know why they changed the time?

lol i was gonna say the same thing. weve had so many primetime games the past few years, its been remarkable...especially considering our piss poor performances. Some of you may forget them, but i dont get Bears games out here on the west coast usually...unless they are primetime, so i remember weve had quite a few.

Probably because both teams are fighting for their Division leads, and both teams are coming off of impressive wins, so it should be an important matchup and a good game to boot...Philly offense vs Bears defense

Changing the time to 4:15 means more of the country will see it. if it's a 1:00 game, then it'll be one of many games promoted by FOX, but @ 4:15 it'll easily be the game about 2/3 of the nation sees

And it's not on Prime Time because FOX blocked NBC from flexing it to Prime time. FOX & CBS are allowed to protected 5 games from being switched & this was one of the games FOX blocked NBC from using

Games each network protected NBC from flexing

FOX- Packers @ Vikings (Week 11), Eagles @ Bears (Week 12), Cowboys @ Colts (Week 13), Eagles @ Giants (Week 15) & Giants @ Packers (Week 16) - The Cowboys @ Colts Flex makes no sense
CBS- Colts @ Patriots (Week 11), Jags @ Giants (Week 12), Patriots @ Bears (Week 14), Patriots @ Jets (Week 15) & Jets @ Bears (Week 16) - The Jags @ Giants Flex makes less sense then the Cowboys flex

So the Bears aren't getting more then 4 Prime Time TV games because FOX & CBS are protecting the 3 biggest games remaining on our schedule they can protect. No Week 17 games are allowed to be protected & With Bears - Packers previously on SNF there's no chance it does SNF double duty, so the Bears will likely finish with 4 National TV games, which is fine. 4 is a very good amount of Prime time games

Plus there's 2 other games next week that sound more intriguing from a flex standpoint - Packers @ Falcons @ 1 & Chargers @ Colts - Which will stay on SNF (Bucs @ Ravens @ 4:15 is also intriguing)

I have no problem bud, and I am not using any tone with ya at all. I understand the pain and torment out of staters go through, because they can't see every game unless they spend hundreds on the packages. I just find it laughable when people say there are not enough prime time games. Hell, last year when we were losing nearly every dame one of our six prime time games (I think we won the last one we played) and getting embarrassed in the process, I was wishing we had less.

Now, it won't matter if NBC broadcasts the Packers game in prime time because I may be going up to Green Bay with my best friend to watch the game.
Thats better than me! I don't think I've seen a single bears game on TV here is AUS, the only time I'm certain to see a game on TV is sunday night prime time. 50-50 chance if its on sunday 4:15, so i'll have to keep my fingers crossed. unfortunately all we normally see are Cowboys, Patriots and Giants.

I think Jimmors pointed this out above, but just to reiterate...

Have you seen the way Cutler plays in Primtime? Why would ANY Bears fan in their right mind want the Bears to play in Primtime?!?!?!

This coming from an out-of-town Bears fan....it pains me to say, but I'd rather our boys stay away from Primtime.

I hate prime time games now. They come on at 2 am and I gotta be at work by 7 am. So I miss it. Are we not that worried about the dolphins game this Thursday?
