That it was and on 2 occasions last night, Williams was the pulling guard and had no one to block. That being said, I'm leaning with Jimmors on this one. RELATIVELY speaking, there is better run blocking, but it still has a long way to go.
Case in point: 4th quarter
The Bears have dominated the time of possession. Miami's D should have been malleable by that time, yet time after time, Forte and Taylor faced initial contact behind the line of scrimmage.
IMO, Forte had his best game running the ball since his rookie season. He made some nice bounces to the outside for yardage, made some quick cuts to avoid defenders and also got some tough yards after contact. The offensive line is improving, but still only playing at an average level. I think/hope they will continue to improve and help this team add to the win column.

But this night is great, and I can't complain about a big win against a big time defense like Miami's.
If I never see a deep ball thrown to Hester again it will make me quite happy. The guy will catch just about everything when he is running side to side and can turn to face the catch; but when he is running goal to goal and has to look back to get the ball; good luck on him catching it. Outside of that, I was pretty happy w/the D, OL(outside Webb), and the running game. I was also very happy w/the Pass to Run ratio.

I agree totally with that, I think it was one of his best games as a Bear. He had alot of yards after contact, made people miss, showed his speed to the edge, he really looked good.

that was the only play there was good up the middle blocking. Fortes yards all came from him going outside when the traffic jam up the middle happened

I agree, hard to find too much downside, it was a great win. The Hester bomb was on Cutler, Hester beat him badly but Cutler didn't throw it until way too late, should have been an easy TD had he thrown it earlier and put it out front of him. Alot of good in this game, loved that hit by Manning to finish off Miami.

I agree with this. Hester acually nearly made the best of a bad bomb. He had to check his run and the drop of the ball advantaged the coverage.

I wanted to vomit after the failed bomb attempt.

Agree that a better throw would have been an easy TD. That being said, a real #1 WR would have made that catch. Hester had the ball in his hands. I clearly think most of the "blame" goes to the throw, but Hester shares in some of that too. I'm not digging on Hester as a WR, nor am I suggesting he shouldn't be on the field. I think the Bears did the right thing by figuring out a way to get the ball in his hands more, but he is NOT a #1. I can't remember who, but someone else made the point about Hester being good when he can face the QB during the catch and that the over the shoulder/adjustment catches continue to give him problems. I have to agree with that as well. I hope Devin continues to improve as a WR because the man is flat dangerous with the ball.
