I don't think he played that bad, I do think the officials picked on him with the second and third penalty.

He might have been singled out a bit but he did have that nice down-block near the GL where Cwil didn't have anyone to block. I really want to see how he plays vs the Jets and Pats.

I think this was Webb's first game against a 3-4 defense..that may have something to do with his mistakes last night.

Just checked, it says he played against the skins. I really hope Tice makes the right decision when we go through this supposed gauntlet we're about to face. I personally think Schaffer is less likely to **** up, and I've watched every game, and continually see him f'n up. On a positive note, I think our whole line seems to do a lot better with mixing in runs with the passes, but isn't that obvious?

maybe to the other defense, sure. but, there were a few times last night I thought for sure a pass coming and Martz kept running it at them..so I dunno?? I mean I'm no NFL coach, but I understand situations and he kinda had me guessing to see what was coming

Game Experience is 100 times better than sideline experience.
I know he's raw, but I trust Tice. there is a method to his madness, and so long as webb improves... it's all good.
but if he stays where he's at, or declines... I'm sure Tice will give him the hook.

I agree with this also to see what we have for the future. If he doesnt improve add RT to the wish list. But if we actually keep him out there and he does improve that is one less thing we need to concern ourselves with next offseason. I guess that is why I wanted Williams to stay at LT.

I just hope that they don't think that modest improvement on the line will be a indicator NOT to draft some OL high in the draft next year. What has happened to Louis btw?

I think we should keep him in there. I agree he has looked bad at times, but we finally have an OL coach. We always say this team has a piss poor history of developing OLmen. Now its time to do that. C. Williams has looked 10 times worse, but I don't think even he should be benched though. This group will get better with time.
