I agree with some parts of this article, but over all this guy is a tool.

I think, unfortunately, he made a lot of very good points in the article.

But we all can argue all we want. The BIG TEST will be how the Bears perform in their next six games. If our two greatest assets are "luck" and "a tough defense", I don't think that will be enough to beat the Eagles or Patriots, among others. Our offense-- including Cutler-- has to step it up BIG TIME. Let's hope for the best.

***Our special teams can also bail us out occasionally, but let's not RELY on it.

Wojchiechowski clearly doesn't like the Bears. I don't think he ever has

I fail to see what isn't impressive about 55% on 3rd downs, 135 yards rushing & 0 points allowed

I couldn't care less if anyone else was bored or annoyed with the game. That is irrelevant. It's still a complete performance

Plus, for all the talk of the Bears tough schedule, the Packers schedule is JUST AS TOUGH. They got Falcons, Patriots, Giants & Bears as their 4 toughest games left - We got Jets, Patriots, Eagles & Packers. same strength of toughness with those 4 games. Just because more people expected the Packers to be where they are & many people still refuse to admit how good the Bears are, doesn't make the Bears schedule tougher

EVERY team 6-3 or better gets LOADS of Luck. You can't win be 6-3 without a lot of luck, so categorizing the Bears as a lucky team is stupid because EVERY team gets Luck. The Packers came close to losing about 3 or 4 times, the Jets probably should've lost 4 games they didn't, the Saints aren't far off from being under .500, etc. Luck happens, a few crazy plays can change seasons, & it happens to every single quality team in the league

I enjoy watching the Bears play the way they have the last 2 games & definitely hope they continue doing so. If they play like this v the Eagles, we most definitely could beat them

The Bears know that they go into every game they play with the better defense & every game with a better special teams. We got the best unit in the league in 2 of the 3 units in the NFL. if the offense plays middle of the pack in the NFL, then the Bears are a formidable team, which is exactly what they have done in the past few games. Great defense, great special teams & below average offense got us to the Super Bowl in 06. The Special Teams isn't as good as it was in 06, but the defense & offense are both better & the competition is definitely weaker. Things are definitely looking good right now

Agree Packer. There are roughly 5 pivotal plays in every game that determine who wins the game. Those teams that are playing with confidence and aggression get those plays to fall their way more often than not.

I hope the media continues to doubt this Bears team. I do think they are a good football team. Like you said, I'd take are ST and D and roll the dice. Our offense is still a work in progress, but we are seeing improvement week to week. The WR play is getting better, the O line is starting to play better football. I like our two headed running game and I'm fine with Jay. The key to the offense, as WE ALL KNOW, is the play of the offensive line. It's starting to play at an average level and I think it will continue to get better. There will be set backs for them as they grow, so I'm preparing myself for that game.

Look at the Patriots v Browns. Set back. Steelers v Patriots at home, set back. It happens to all teams, so when it happens to this offense, let's not freak out.

Frankly, I think next weeks game against Philly will do that as well. They are playing awfully well and Vick is playing his best QB. Whether he can keep it up is another question. The Philly WR's scare me. They have 3 excellent guys and we must get a big pass rush on Vick or it won't be pretty.

True Grizz. Although, after last weeks inhuman performance from Vick, the Eagles are this weeks "best in the NFC"...lol. Seems that's a rotating title in the parity driven NFL right now.

Who cares about cred. When the Bears went to the SB in 06 they got no love at all. Why should the Bears get any now. I would say this years team has a worse preformance than the 06 team. I want to see this team stay under the radar and submarine strait to the SB. So I can look at my tv like a girl is crawling out of it, because it will be a surprise and that is the way I like it. Come on Bears surprise the league.

Its ESPN, what do you expect? Respect? never gonna happen.
But its curious, when going over our victories and why we are so "lucky,' he failed to mention the Packers win we had. I wonder why....
