It's a complex item. A good defense can be measured by yards, but without special teams it doesn't matter much. Our special teams are awesome and give our offense great field position, plus our defense gets quite a few turnovers. Together, all those things make for a great team.

Damn, I really hope we nock Philly off of their high horse this week.

As time as floated along since the Dolphins game, I'm starting to feel more and more confident in our ability to make it a game against the Eagles. The Eagles are floating on Cloud Nine right now, and that is a recipe for disaster for a very talented team. They may have a feeling of invincibility about them, and if that's the case, look for them to make careless mistakes.

We're not only the top in scoring defense but elite at creating turnovers- combined which I will take over any other defensive statistic combos.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

I bet that the top scoring defense in the league is now Green Bay again since they only gave up 3 points to the Vikings.

    They're tied. They've both given up 146 points @ 14.6 PPG

This has been debated for a long time. If you look at the big picture I'll take the defense that gives up the least amount of yds/game any day.
Overall those are the teams that win games barring a lousy offense of course. (Ravens) lol
    10-7-07 Bears 27,Fudge Packers 20...12-23-07 Bears 35,Fudge Packers 7
Then Favre quit and became a Jet...

And is this where i point out that the Bears dont use the Cover-2 as often as you think, mostly its a Cover-2 shell in a base 4-3?

I would rank the Giants #1 for knocking (5)quarterbacks out of games they have faced.
