For everyone else. The Bears are just "darn lucky". That about right?

When a team has a few penalties in a game it's because a player wasn't thinking and made a mistake... When they break records for penalties in a game it has something to do with the team they are playing. Watch that game again and count how many of the penalties were a holding or false start on the o-lineman responsible for Peppers. The stats don't even come close to reflecting how much of an impact he had. I don't consider the Bears an elite team right now either, but they are playing better every week, and should now be considered very good in a league this year without any real dominant teams. But i'd put money on most analysts still having them worse than the packers and eagles this week even though they've beat both of them head to head and have a better record
Same players were playing. Why are they so much better now??? Sure didn't look like it against the Giants. They are playing better....I agree. Are they legit. Beat the Jets (like the Packers did) and Minny in the Dome, and NE.....get through December against those teams and then the Bears are legit. Until then.....a win is a win and they are 8-3. As Green said, "they are who we thought they were." 3rd string QB and 3rd string CB.....just sayin. If the Bears are the best they'll beat GB in Lambeau no problem....Jets and Pats too.

When you play against a team's 3rd string QB on a short week and the top INT CB in the league.....and you get a gift against Detroit.......yep, pretty much sounds like great timing to me.

You heard it here, folks! Every other team in the NFL earns their wins, but the Bears don't. They get gifts!

If the Bears continue to prepare and play the way they did against the Eagles there is no stopping them. Vick has brought the Eagles up to being one of the most dangerous teams in the NFL with his pure talent and ability to scramble. This was the Bears big test and they passed with an A+. The rest of the season should be no different, there is no reason the bears cant beat any other team if they maintain what we saw last night. I personally hope that no one takes them seriously and other teams continue to look at them as “non-elite”, it only makes these victories soooo much sweeter.

LOL @ trying to write off all of the Bears win's due to Luck, or other variables other htan the fact that they beat the team in front of them.

Lots of excitement about last weekends win...deservedly so.
But as a fan thats been a fan for long enough to know, this weeks glory feels like next weeks trap game. Not even fair to call it that considering the Lions are a QB away from being a damn good team.
Making the trip from SW Ohio to support our boys on enemy soil. All this hype about keeping the Eagles under our thumb is making me all that more nervous about next weeks game.
Imagine....after a victory that rang through the league like this last one did. Going back to, "See, we told you it was Vick having a bad day!"

asante samuels plays offense and special teams? would he have made the tackle to prevent Forte's 61 yard run? would he have covered knox, bennett and hester all at once? injuries are part of the game, we've seen that first hand in 07, 08, and 09.
Besides, the packers are relying on rodgers too much, and also, their OL is nothing to brag about either.

Here's how you diminish the Bear's wins.
Take one aspect of the game, such as rules, penalties, injuries, special teams, defense, etc and make a sentence such as this...
You're lucky we (had so many penalties, were starting a backup cornerback, scored less points than you) or we would have won.
