    Chicago Bears Dream big

    OK Bears fans...its balls to the wall time for the Bears.

    This win was huge for MANY reasons:

    1.It put us in the sole lead of the division for at LEAST 2 weeks. So this week and next, we shall be #1 in the NFCN

    2.It was our 2nd win against a team with winning records. And BOTH of those teams are in the playoff hunt...so that only helps us down the road should we tie the Eagles in record. Imagine how PISSED Philly will be having to come back to Soldier Field for the playoffs

    3.This win puts us @ 8-3. Only other teams with the same or better record are the Falcons and Saints...both of which are in the same conference. Now, Atlanta's remaining schedule is cake..so they are in position to be #1 seed...which means WE are in position to not only win the Division...but the #2 seed. And thanks to this win, should we tie Philly in the end...we will get #2

    So..as the title says...DREAM BIG. We have the Lions next, which we *should* win, making us 9-3. Then we get 4 games...NE, NYJ, Minny and GB to put the hammer down and PROVE we are not pretenders.

    This is what football is about...screw the media and their opinions...this aint college football, and opinion polls dont decide champions...January does. Merry Christmas Bears fans, lets do this.

    im NOT saying were going to the super bowl, but in a year where the nfl is really strange, its not crazy to think we could end up going to the superbowl.

    We can definitely be there. We have a tough schedule the rest of the way out, but we see what the bears can do when they play to their potential. It CAN be done! They are playing with emotion like they can feel the teammanship. I like where this is heading!

    yeah...im not even looking that far ahead...right now, its Win the division, try and get #2 seed...then show up and play like they did this week in the playoffs.

    But youre right nerrad...its a crazy year this year...which is one reason i believe the Bears can do this. Bears arent perfect, they have their shortcomings, but so do everyone else.

    yea exactly. Honestly, like waddle said, this line is holding us back from being elite. if they can continue to improve and hit their stride around week 16 or 17, we could be in for something special. This defense is elite, offense has deadly talent. Speed kills and thats what we have in all aspects of this offense.

    I think the most encouraging part was that the offensive line played better after early mistakes/bad play. We were up early despite bad oline play, but then we shored things up.

    Cutler can indeed be a top shelf guy, if we can just keep him on his feet.

    Honestly. I take a big step back and look at everything. The line could be worse. They are improving and if they keep this trend who knows how good they could be in a few weeks. Hopefully staying injury free and keeping the can do attitude. The whole team is heading in the right direction to be able to beat any team in the NFL. Yeap I said it and I honestly believe it.
