R-E-S-P-E-C-T writers are already starting to give us some.

Healthy Bears: Amazingly, once again, the Bears came out of Sunday’s game injury free, which bodes well about the club’s chances moving forward. Chicago is arguably the NFL's healthiest team this late in the season.
I think this point is extremely important in far as our chances are concerned. Remember that we were missing Mike Brown and 2006 Tommie Harris when we went to the SB last time.
Big day by Forte: Matt Forte rushed 14 times for 117 yards against the Eagles, which goes down as the best performance of the year by any running back against Philadelphia’s defense. Coming into the game, the Eagles were allowing an average of 73.8 yards over their last six outings.
Another good point going forward.

The ESPN article says "Cutler only had 1 pass of more then 30 yards coming into this game". lol .... where the heck does ESPN get their writers? I can think of a handfull of 30+ yard passes just of the top of my head :)

Considering our Top 6 receivers all have a catch over 30 yards you'd think so

Green Bay, Miami, Vikings, Eagles - Bears were the underdogs and predicted to lose all these games.
The Bears play better when playing the role of the spoiler.
I hope they keep expecting them to lose every week - it always makes the Bears step it up..........

I think it's less a case of R-E-S-P-E-C-T, and more of the reporters S-A-V-I-N-G F-A-C-E.
There's lots of egg on lots of faces. Hehehehe.

I can care less what the reports say. As long as the Bears take the field and play a good game. I like it better when the reports disrespect the Bears and the Bears keep winning.

Bears highlights were third on ESPN radio this morning
Behind the chargers and Indy as well as Atlanta and green bay.
When the bears highlights started they were actually called "for real"
Trent Dilfer still does not believe because we can't protect the QB and says we will be exposed

Trent Dilfer = almost as annoying as Steve Young.

I knew this is how it would go. I knew when they beat the "resurging" Vikings it wouldn't matter. I knew when they blanked the Fins it wouldn't matter. I knew it would take a victory against one of the "media darlings" to get looked at as a team deserving to be in the talk of true play off contenders.
Wonder if Anthrax thinks they are good yet?
