One way to destroy the sudden hype the Bears have received for slapping Philly around is to go to Detroit and lose. I really want to see them play well on the road next week.

After putting together a game like sunday's, a poor showing against the Lions would be devastating. That said, I really don't think it will happen. The D is playing lights out, Lions D will not stop Cutler, Forte, and CO. They might find a way to keep it interesting, but the Bears are who we're starting to think they are.
Have to keep Suh off of Cutler, the line did well the first time, they will be better this time around.

I expect to see Detroit come out blitzing, and getting beat by our run game. Our newly found balanced attack will work well against Detroit. I wouldn't be surprised though if it is a good game. I've thought all season that they are a good, up and coming team. I'm going to hate it if they beat us because our schedule is too tough from here on out to have a loss to Detroit.
Its the classic trap game. But, i do believe the circumstances are different then they were in week 1. Neither the Lions nor the Bears are the same team they were then, Lions have been falling, while the Bears have been on the rise.
And yet , the Lions are still probably pizzed that they 'lost' to the Bears in wk1........ and that Stafford's shoulder got jacked-up by them. Also..... if there's 1 thing i've seen over the years; it's that the bizarre injuries always seem to happen against the worst teams . Hope we avoid that.
Yep, the Lions will be gunning for us even more so than in week 1, after losing that way. They're gonna play us tough, count on it.
That said, I still believe the Bears come out on top :thumb:
Make the trip north this weekend....since Stafford got hurt there's been some good tix opening up. Got face value for some lower level mid-field sideline seats! (11th consecutive year to this game....'bout 8 of those in Chicago)
Good points all around in here! Detroit is dangerous enough to best us, and on a 4-win streak....all ingredients are there for an upset.
...now I just need to find a good spot to tailgate. (have yet to find a good one in Detroit)
It's OK, the Bears will win because they have the power of magic!

We have been playing well on the road.
At this point, there is not going to be any easy wins. Take care of the football on offense and we should make a good run.
