yeah, but to expect anything more from a rookie WR is equally ridiculous. The offense were running right now isn't the Mike Martz offense, and it won't be without an OL. F**K IT...draft a DT in the first

and it wont run right without a num one wr. I would say lets get a vet wr in FA but we dont know who will be FAs yet. That is why in my original post I thought a bit early speculating draft and fa etc. I just like for us to go for the bpa instead of biggest need. I mean if there is no first round graded ol at our pick would you rather grab a third round rated player over a first round rated player?
and believe me I still think if JA is in charge T Harris replacement will be our first rounder. In recent years except for reaches like Demytrius Thomas and Gonzales first round wrs have been doing fantastic early on. After rookie seasons by Nicks, Britt, Jackson(actually 2 rounder), Maclin etc...... it all depends on how talented of a wr draft it is

Also, that WR you picked in the first looks like a friggin' monster. I do think the Bears need O-line talent but I don't think they have to spend a first-round pick to get a guard or a center. If there's a tackle worth grabbing, then by all means but the first round pick should be used on one of the harder to fill positions. Then again, if there's some earth mover guard available when the Bears pick at 32 ...

Wait, is Blackmon a sophomore?

I dont really care what position we get I just want first round talent. I dont want a guy just cause he ran a bad ass 40 time. I want a guy who actually produced in college. If it is a DT so be it but if he is a reach yeah I would be disapointed. I dont want a guy with a spinal cord/back problem(Chris Williams). I dont want a guy with an asterik next to their name cause they are a 21 year old with 50 year old man knee(T Harris). I dont want a guy just cause they ran a fast 40 time(Olsen). I dont want a guy cause we need a starter so we reach for a player(Columbo) etc......

If anyone is happy w/our WR talent...you've been watching the Bears to long. It is completely underwhelming what we have at that position. That's not to take away from Knox or Bennet, but everyone else is trash, and neither of those guys are a #1 by any means; probably 3's tops on most teams. But I think we also need a guy w/size that can go and get the jump ball that Cultler likes to throw; not sure 6'1" is quite big enough to be honest.
OL is the biggest problem but this draft is weak; go CB or WR and hope of the best in FA or 2nd/3rd round unless one of the OL kids somehow falls.

Reggie Wayne sucked for several years before he became a consistent threat.
What can we get with the #32 pick?

wonder what NE's gonna do with Mankins? ya know... that kid from Fresno State! I htink he bails on them and goes the FA route...unless, can they tag him after this season?
