It tells you something about his ranking when he puts Schaub on it and not Culter. Also ranking Phillips no1 that sealed it for me. Bradshaw has taken to many hits to the head. So I cares less about his list and no lost some respect for his opinion.

Orton sits way high on the list with 3,370 yards passed this season after 12 games (11+bye), but because he isn't surrounded by a stellar team, it seems that his numbers don't mean anything. The 3,370 yards made him #1 in the NFL and #9 all time in NFL history. He has a QB rating of 96.0 and went into the last game against the Chiefs with a QB rating of 131.5. Orton is 28 years old now and maybe Bradshaw thinks he's already too old. The Broncos are sucking hind tit in their division with a 3-8 record, and that equates to , in most people's minds, as a bad QB who can't pull his team together. That is bullshit though, because a QB that is throwing as well as Orton is obviously does not suck. It must be time for Bradshaw to really retire, because he has lost his vision as far as picking quarterbacks goes. I am by no means a Bronco fan, but I am an Orton fan. He should be sitting at number one on the list of best, regardless of age.

And Orton certainly deserve a spot in this list also. He has been sensational with Denver & is having a Pro Bowl season right now. No way 10 QB more impressive then that

For the season maybe, but again, this isn't a list of best QBs under 30 for this season. It is based on a career. Orton should not be number 1 on any list for career. This season, then yes.

I value Bradshaw's opinion as much as I do Warren Sapp's...not at all

Orton is not number one in anyway shape or form because I feel he is not a leader.

Its not truly the QBs job to be a leader. His job is to get the ball to someone who will move it down the field. Yes he has to have good communication skills to get the plats across, but he didn't make the plays up. He, just like every other player goes to drills to learn every move that needs to take place to get the ball into the endzone. If it doesn't happen, then somebody screwed up, and it's because the QB did his part and someone else didn't. Its a whole team, and the QB is just part of that team. The coaches are the leaders. The QB is the middle man who lets everyone on the offense know what the coach wants done. When the defense is on the field the QB has nothing to do with what they are doing. When special teams come out the QB is usually getting a Gatorade and towellling off his head. HE is not the team, but a member of it. HE isn't supposed to be the leader, that's just what the Bradshaws and the other talking heads say when a team isn't doing good and they need someone to blame.

Completely disagree. He touches the ball on every play. The QB should be THE leader, if not one of the leaders.

Well, let me go on record and say this: if Jay Cutler takes this team to the Super Bowl and wins it (I know, I know - this is a long shot), he will have done so with superior statistics as well as inferior offensive weapons at his disposal. Jay Cutler will have, in essence, beaten Terry Bradshaw despite not having the best talent around him, which Bradshaw most assuredly did.

Yeah, the QB is the man out there. He reads defenses, initiates each play, changes calls, makes reads, facilitates every play, plus much more. If he's not a leader, the team goes nowhere.

Personally, I have always thought Dan Marino was the greatest QB ever, but since people like using championships as a defining mark, I digress. So tell me. How many rings does TB have?
