If I were the Coach, I'd have sent them to the showers and back on the bus by halftime!

Losing to the Eagles by 3 isn't any different?
Losing to the Packers by 2 isn't any different?
Losing to the Giants by 8 isn't any different?
Leading the Pats @ Halftime isn't much different?
The previous loss to the Bears by 5 isn't much different?

The Lions play teams close, especially tough teams. 7 of their 10 losses are respectable performances v teams with 8 wins or more

Heck, lets go to the Bills

Loss by 10 to Jaguars
Loss by 8 to Pats
Loss by 5 to Dolphins
Loss by 3 in OT to Steelers
Loss by 3 in OT to Ravens
Loss by 3 in OT to Chiefs
Loss by 3 to Bears

7 of 10 losses by 10 or less to .500 or better teams & 5 of those 7 to teams with 8 wins or more

Both the Lions & Bills play teams tough, especially the very good teams. Stop expecting every game v a team with a horrible record to be a blowout. Just because a team has a horrible record doesn't mean a blowout is likely. The Lions & Bills show up in games & fight hard as proven by consistently close games v tough teams. This isn't a big deal & makes us no different then any other team the Lions or Bills have lost close to

We just punked the Eagles last week in a DOMINATING fashion. There was your "once", so you should be happy, right?
The Lions always play us hard, shouldn't be a surprise by now.
Btw, are they 2-8 with a 3rd string QB, or are they "playoff contenders"? Let's clear that up.

Srsly, why the anger? Didn't the Bears win today? Did ANYONE expect us to get lucky enough to shut out two teams with third string QB's, on the road, no doubt? If you can't look at the Lions and tell that they are much better than their record, then you're blinded by crazy expectations, honestly.

They ARE better than their record. And they were more dangerous today than they were last time because they had something to prove. No surprise they came after us today, so we had to battle them PLUS dig ourselves out of a self-made hole. I give em credit for buckling down and getting it done on both sides of the ball.

Yeah, I don't get it either...personally, I was never really worried at any point during this game...
