This is a real good win, after giving up that ridiculous TD before the half I was concerned they might not get things straightened out, but the D gave up on 49 total yards in the 2nd half .... fantastic adjustment .... and the offense moved the ball well most of the game.

If memory serves the last two seasons that we won five games in a row were 2005 and 2006 our last two playoff years. We're not there yet but much closer than many were foretelling at the start of the year.
One day Red and another Bears player, George Halas, met President Calvin Coolidge. They told the President they were with the Chicago Bears to which Coolidge reportedly replied, "Glad to meet you fellows. I always did like animal acts."

Well, the Lions are 2-10 now. They've fought hard all season and just haven't gotten the lucky bounces. The Bears were in this same boat back in 2007, 2008, and 2009 when things didn't seem to go their way at times. True, they didn't have a great offense or defense in any of those seasons, and the coaching was lackluster to say the least, but they were within one game of a .500 record for 2007 and 2009, and one game of winning a Wild Card spot in 2008. Obviously, I'm comparing apples to oranges because the Bears were far superior talent-wise even on those teams to the Lions of this season, but really, look how close Detroit is to having a respectable record before you go off half-cocked and rip Chicago for a lackadaisical effort, Guitar. You make good points most of the time and I respect your fiery nature, but this analysis of the ballgame and why you think the Bears should have automatically destroyed the Lions for being 2-9 is illogical and asinine.

It's all good, Guitar. I thought I was going to shit in my pants at Hooters while watching the game as the Lions' offense was ripping apart our defense.
