Go Tampa, Bears could have homefield advantage

This would be a division loss for Atlanta, this would put the Bears in the drivers seat for HF advantage!

Haha that's exactly what im talking about! Besides the falcon's definitely have an easier remaining schedule than da bears.

    Tampa Bay (7-4)
    Carolina (1-11)*
    Seattle (6-6)*
    New Orleans (9-3)
    Carolina (1-11)*

    *assuming Carolina loses to Seattle

and having Mike Williams (TB WR) on my fantasy team helps out a bit..

Even with a loss to Tampa, Atlanta has the edge over us because of Conference record & the edge over New Orleans because of head to head. They'd still be #1 seed even if they lose this game

But in the long haul, it definitely helps our chances. We just can't get it this week

True, plus as unpreDITKABLE pointed out, ATL has a very cake schedule ahead...we get NE, NYJ, minny and GB...they get Carolina TWICE and Seattle. So yeah, even if ATL loses this week, they probably will still get #1 seed.

Saying all things equaled out, wouldn't we still have a better divisional record, which would be the first consideration?

Why? Atlanta & Chicago are in different divisions. Why would division record come into play for teams not in the same division?

When you don't play head to head, division record is the first tie breaker as far as I know without looking it up :)
