I know of few kickers who actually improve their range as they age. I'd love to see him hit a 60yd'er.
Arguing on the internet is like winning the special olympics, even if you win your still messed up.

Going on his 54yarder the other day he could make a 60 yarder, the problem is when would a team ever let the kicker attempt that. Next time we're up by 3 touchdowns with a couple of minutes left, I'd love to see them let him have a go (provided he wasnt hitting head on into a wind or anything).

If he was not in a dome, I would not have asked him to even attempt the 54 yarder. Dome kicks are easier.

What I thought was every bit as impressive was his kickoff deep into the endzone. He has definately been working on his leg strength; his kickoffs used to goto somewhere between the 5 and goalline tops.

Congrats Robbie, man he's come a looooooong way from Penn State used to go to those games and he sucked out loud.
PS - That's a picture of Jay Cutler in the OP.

My 11 year old son got his Jersey for his birthday. I told him anyone he wanted and he said Gould. It is a ritual, when Gould lines up and they snap the ball, we say "Good".
Edit: He already has Hester, Cutler, Urlacher and Forte, so it's not his only choice. Kid has more Jersey's than me.
Debate is one thing. Losing love for your country is another.

He picked a good role model, that's for sure. Robbie Gould is going to be around in Chicago for a long time, I have a feeling.

I didn't think there'd ever be anyone who could replace Butthead in the Bear Saga.
Time has a way of proving everyone wrong.
Congrats, Robbie.

I wish I were old enough to remember Kevin Butler, man. I'm 29, and since I don't live in the Chicagoland area, as a kid, I didn't get raised to be a Bears fan. That being said, I don't remember a single thing that happened back in the 1980s with the Bears.

Haha, I just noticed that I pasted the wrong pic in the OP. Man I guess I'm dyslexic, coulda sworn that was a 9. Good call. I fixed it.
