Why are the Bronco fans so down on Orton??
I was reading their msgboard, wow they want Orton out on most posts. I thought he was having a big year, but most say alot of the things the Bear fans saw ... they complain he is not accurate and misses wide open WRs at times and doesn't have leadership. He's having a big year though, but the are losing. I'm surprised they are all so down on him.

Maybe we should ask the people that were over here crowing about how we got hosed on that deal. Orton was the Savior when he got there, what happened?

Mainly it's what happened when Rex got here; a bunch of Fl fans jammed their board talking about the greatness that Tebow was going to bring. When they win they go away, but when they lose they show up in spades. There are also the hard core remenants of the grossman/KO wars from the main board, and here that decided to head over there and continue the flame wars.

Reading their boards sounds SO MUCH like it used to sound like here.

when a team is doing bad the backup qb is always the favorite player. Especially when the backup qb is a first rounder. And especially when the backup qb had an enormous amount of blowhard followers

I'll tell you why they are down on Orton. The guy is terrible. He never could throw the deep ball and even though he has gotten better recently, he is still not good at it. KO only looks good to those that don't watch football and just look at stats. The system they have in place is good for that. If KO was any good, why is it that every team he plays for looks to replace him?
I know it always comes back to this, but anyone that says the Bears did not get the better of the trade really doesn't know football. If KO were still on this team anyone think the Bears would have this record?
Debate is one thing. Losing love for your country is another.
So says the White Boy....

Irish, if he was so terrible, how is it that he has those yards, Td/int ratio, ypc, and comp% when every team knows the Bronc's cannot run? Their down on the qb b/c the qb per usual takes to much to blame and to much credit for wins and losses. KO is struggling b/c every team knows they have to throw to win; that has become their downfall. Also don't get me wrong, KO is a nice qb, but he's not Brady, who this O was built around.
I don't know that we would be 9-3 w/KO but I don't think we would be sub .500 either, what we have been doing in the last 5 games is very similar to what KO can do, quick short passes, not a lot of deep stuff.

FL fans swarm any pro team that seems to get one of their qb's talking about how great those qb's are....and you will see A LOT of buys from the qb forum of the old boards over their trolling it up. Most of them know that KO is a good qb to have around until you can get your franchise guy in there; they also know that the qb is not their primary issue; their OL/running game is and their D(which has been the problem since before Mcdumbdumb was brought in) is still gawd awful.

I really think the Tebow pick they made was awful. That is going to backfire on them, it does crack me up that they say "we got so many good picks but just didn't do anything with them". lol, thats part of the reason why you trade picks to get a player, because the picks are never guaranteed to be homeruns. The funny thing is Knox may be the best pick of all the picks that were swapped, and now we have a 9-3 team with all our draft picks going forward to build around. Then again thats for the future, right now I'm pretty excited about what this team can do this year, because I think they can play with anyone and are getting better each week.
